Every time I've gone job hunting, I've just super-spammed resumes and sent applications to any position I meet 1/2 the requirements for. Then I see who calls back, set up a screening call, convert that into an interview, hope I don't get ghosted after the final round, etc. The companies didn't phukking matter, I just kept spamming until I had something and took interview requests from anybody. Toilet paper factory on the Texas-Oklahoma border, I'm your man.
This is a equivalent of a sloot screening call (ie pretty much basic automatic acceptance meant to schedule 1st round interview) and signifies close to nothing. The problem I've got is that I'm so inexperienced that I don't even know how to progress something this basic.
I'm not Eminem'ing myself up here, thinking I've got one shot, one opportunity for a downer with a CC degree. It's more like I feel lost on how to try and navigate a job interview, cause I'm mid 20s and have never held a job before.

It sounds like you have it in your head this girl is your only chance, and you're getting too much in your head and you are likely going to blow it due to the pressure. Just chat with her a bit, be comfortable and try to get to know the girl first. Yeah she will likely flake as that's what most women on dating apps do. See this as an opportunity to get some experience at building rapport and figuring out how to talk to women, more than anything else.
If anything extra comes of it then great, but don't put a lot of hope in this and a lot of pressure on yourself.

I'd do bowling or mini golf for a get to know you date. Dinner is good, if you know the person a little beforehand and you know you can sit and talk with them for an hour. I did a lot of first dates for food, but they were all girls I know in real life to some extent. What's the misc opinion how much to talk prior to asking on a date? I have no experience with dating apps I've been married since before they were invented. If you want to talk to her ask her something about her profile. If it were me, I might ask if she is a skier or a snowboarder and go from there. Maybe she likes outdoor stuff. Figure out what she's interested in.
