Waiting for my UK residency permit. Taking a bit longer than expected because of the Ukrainian economic migrants. Should be another few weeks tops. Packed all the stuff i want to keep but don't want to take with me there and had them sent to Turkey for safekeeping.

If i had to choose, i'd take ***** over London. I don't like it a vacation destination, but to live, it's as good as it gets imo. Avoiding the 40% tax rate is just the start. It's also the safest city in the world. I haven't even seen a fist fight break out in the 16 years i've been here. Does it happen? Sure, but its' so rare that i've never even seen one. Living here is like being on one long vacation. There's more to do than any other city on the planet, as far as activities go. It's not even close, actually. It's also a seaside city, which London isn't. It's also a relatively new city, and one that had a lot of money from the start...the implications of that is that is that the urban planning is just great, rather than quite random. Business wise, it's excellent. Our resident RP billionaires wouldn't like it here, but my working conditions are pretty nice. Healthcare, 22 days paid annual leave, maternity/paternity leave, end of service gratuity, etc... all guaranteed by law. You don't even contribute towards healthcare like you do in the UK. It's just free. Oh and the city is clean as fuk.
Currently spending the weekend in a mountain resort. Archery, trail hiking kayaking etc...

Looks like a normal ferris wheel, right?

Wrong. Each "cabin" is an experience. E.g. having dinner and drinks.
Unrelated, but similar, did this "Dinner in the Sky'. There's just so much to do.

Don't come in Summer. Really. It takes some getting used to, and it's something you need to be eased into. So if you're going to try it, go around November or so if possible.
What research? Pretty sure I can give you more legit answers to any questions you might have, considering how long I've been here. What do you want to know?

I was definitely wondering about the weather, though. What does everyone do when it is 45 degrees outside? I can only imagine staying in air conditioned apartments and malls.

Went to my sons graduation Friday - pretty surreal experience 1st kid college graduation.
One mid day ceremony , and an evening one also.
Did a Airbnb for all the family members from both sides of the family to stay and hang, was pretty cool.
One lesson I’ve learned- anyone parent or grandparent over the age is 65 should be excused from attending- it’s just way too much walking and heat.
I’m gonna make him be my surrogate political career.

You definitely want to follow Trump
https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump
Their main account
https://truthsocial.com/@truthsocial
Nunes
https://truthsocial.com/@DevinNunes
Then just start following people they re-truthed you might like
Click the search button and a list of people recommended to follow will pop up - try some of them - any red mark is verified that persons legit them.
You can also just go to someone’s following list and start following theirs until you develop a feed - then just follow people you might be interested in
It will probably be two more months before it automatically generates a feed for new people
You can reduce your follow list, or mute them later
Edit: follow this one
