Far enough back in time the parents would be some kind of ancestral primate, further back a reptile, further back a fish, eventually back to some kind of cellular life and ultimately abiogenesis (the materials involved ultimately coming from space- heavier elements the ash of previous stars etc).
If you are asking what created the universe (which is quite different than asking what createdhim), that question is assuming it was created, which is unknown and not necessarily a just assumption. In fact essentially nothing about it is known. Perhaps the cosmos has existed forever. To claim with any certainty it was God without evidence isnt good form (much less a god specific to a certain religion)....and if you do claim this, I may as well ask you the question you just asked him- what created this God.

The nation of Israel was destroyed in 70 AD shortly after the crucifixion. Then in 1948 Israel became and nation again and Jews started immigrating back just like the Prophets predicted. I think this is pretty strong evidence for the existence of God of Abraham
Do you due diligence
I used to hate Christians and mocked them all the time. Paul, who wrote the much of the New Testament, was a Jew that used to hate Christians and wanted them to be put to death. He changed and so can you.

This has nothing to do with being proud or humble. If anything the humble answer to what created the universe is "I dont know/question is making possibly unjust assumptions". The proud answer to it is "I KNOW it was X". This, of course, is an empty certainty...yet proudly asserted.

The Bible is offensive to the human race because it tells us we are sinners. We love our sin and therefore hate God by nature. God wanted a people who would love Him for all eternity. You can't have love without free will. For this reason, there is a choice - good or evil.

18For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19For it is written:
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”
20Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?

The bible says a lot of things....some of which are clearly wrong, others which are perplexing looking back from our 21st century perspective in terms of morals/laws etc...it is what it is, pretty clearly a reflection of the people of the local time period and culture. Basically exactly what I'd expect for such a compilation of documents written circa 1st millenium BCE to 100CE.

Not so fuking smart now as I see it. Watch that video and tell me society does not need God.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Religion is not some golden ticket needed to have some wondrous, highly functioning society. In fact if you look at the religion-dominant Middle East and the seeming perpetual turmoil surrounding the region, questionable human rights etc, it's easy to see just how much society can be impacted by religion, and not in the positive sense. Christianized cultures of ages past would look pretty much foreign (and terrible) to us looking back from our current perspective: medieval Christian Europe where peasants lived brutal lives without much rights, witches burned, torture was used as punishment, religious wars, slavery in early America etc.

15Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16By their fruit you will recognize them. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20So then, by their fruit you will recognize them.
21Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’
23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’

The morals of religion mostly make sense by self-contained reasoning. The supernatural mandate affects almost none of the social truths.Lol at the smug non-believers in this thread. I respect Christians and want to promote it for societies sake even though it might be a Jewish mind control device
but I just can't be religious, it will never make sense to me, maybe to someone else but not me.

My favorite:
Psalm 15
15 Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the Lord. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

We could go on into the ridiculousness of what "fallen world" even means when the concept of a first pair of humans living on earth some thousands of years ago is thoroughly discredited by modern science, yada yada, as well as much of the rest of that book of the bible, but it would be a tangent and not worth the effort.
Edit:
Someone saying that a lemon-sized tumor simply disappeared and vanished in thin air overnight? Yea sorry Im calling that dishonest.
Why would you believe someone online merely saying that happened, without evidence? I continue to be amazed just how gullible some people can be on here.

I was agnostic most of my life, mother was Catholic, dad was Jewish, didn't want any part of either religion or any for that matter. When I turned 27 all of that changed, I'm not going to get into how I came to know the God of The Bible, and how He has worked through my entire life, but I will speak about just what has happened as of semi-recent.
I can't stand going to the doctor/hospital, I lost a lot of respect for the entire medical Field during this whole "pandemic" and when a good friend recently became a Pharmaceutical Rep, and clued me in how many doctors operate, I lost even more respect for them. Having said that I have always been close to my GP, we have become pretty good friends. He's an older guy that has been a doctor for over 40 yrs in Southern California, Hispanic, and so many patients, it's over a year waiting list to become a patient of his. We've had many talks, and in one of them religion/God came up. He told me like most Hispanics he was raised Catholic but as soon as he went off to University and later Medical School he put all that nonsense behind him. Said he never gave it much thought for many years as he just became focused on his work, family, and helping at the Cancer Center when not on duty fo the last 20 yrs here in our local town. Said too, me one day while at the Center or it might of been Rady's Children Hospital actually he was making his usual rounds and saw a family gathered around a patient of his praying, which was not uncommon, but the mother asked if he would pray with them. He agreed and held hands with the family, after done praying he talked about the severity of the child's condition to the family, essentially offering little hope of what could be done further as they have exhausted all known care that could be given. After sometime the family left and he continued his work, finishing out the day while he related to me the family and friends did not stop praying for the entire night. When the next day came, he was running tests on the child, and the cancer and brain tumor were all but gone, he ran more tests, called more doctors in, spent the next two days evaluating the child but everything had either gone into remission or was completely gone. He had no explanation. The family did however, they were sure that God healed their son. To this day the child is grown having no issues in which he had earlier in life. My doctor told me he could tell me quite a few stories very similar to that, where it was nothing short of a miraculous healing that took place, and many of his colleagues will tell of similar experiences.
Now you might chalk that up to coincidence, or treatments suddenly kicking in and working, but treatments typically do not work spontaneously leaving no trace of the ailment behind. In fact, I'd encourage you to ask your doctor if he has ever experienced any sort of unexplained healing he has witnessed throughout his career....?
Now why does God heal some and not others? I'm not going to pretend like I have all the answers, but I will say this. Earlier this year my wife lost her mother, whom was only 56 (no, it was not Covid), infact I even posted an interview on here that my wife gave of how the Hospital so harshly treated her mother and her, that was viewed on quite a few platforms. I took it down on this site as quite a few MISC'ers were advising that there are some sik kunts here and it's not wise to put that info out, even NYPat was sympathetic, and gave the advice to take it down. It's been a tough year for my wife, and she struggles at times in understanding why God took her so young. Now I must say, that my wife is truly a blessed woman. She has the purist heart of anyone I have ever met, and she is truly a blessing to everyone she knows and comes in contact with. We've been married 18 yrs, and while my life has been a struggle with walking away and coming back to God, over and over and over again, she has never lost faith or strayed from Truth, and God has blessed her abundantly for that.
Anyways all that to say, that it wasn't until my wife experienced such close loss that she began to understand why. People have been coming into her life that are going through the same struggle of loss and depression, and I've watched how my wife has been a comfort and counseled so many in just this short amount of time since she lost her mom and how that sharing her experience, how God has helped her, that she has been able to heal and help heal others. You see we don't draw close to God and each other (people) in a way that only tragedy, loss, pain can unite. I could tell you of quite a few stories of just this year of how God has worked in her life, infact just the other week on Mother's Day we were running lat for church and were forced to sit outside as the building was packed. Sitting there my wife turned to me and said God wanted us to sit outside today, typical me just brushed it off and made some sarcastic remark, but she was serious. Moments later a 15 yr old girl and her dad came and sat next to us with the girl sitting next to my wife. As the service began the girl started to cry and after some time my wife just put her arm around her and she knew the girl had lost her mom..after service they went onto talk and I could see them smiling after sometime. You see, my wife would have never been able to relate to that girl and others in a way that she could only do now having experienced what she had been through. Why does God heal some and not others, I don't know, but I know God has His reasons, and they are beyond our understanding, and to those that seek Him, it always works out for good. Even the passing of her mom how our life is heading God is blessing it every step of the way..

As for the anecdotal medical 'miracle' stories....there are a few issues. First, there is no reason to believe extraordinary claims like this posted online- it is a story merely being claimed, it is not evidence (and Im not singling you or him out here, Im saying a story fromanyone). Stories tend to be embellished, made up, details added, etc....they are not in general trustworthy, particularly in a case like this in which the person is using the story in order to support an agenda.
So when someone says a lemon sized tumor merely disappeared into mid air overnight, my default stance is it didnt happen until actual evidence of this is presented (beyond a mere claim). Just as I would expect someone to not believe my claim that I just flipped 1000 tails in a row on a fair coin or beat Lebron James in 1 on 1 basketball last night, without further evidence. Spontaneous remission of cancer is a thing, but a lemon size tumor disappearing in a night needs some dam good evidence to be believed.
It doesnt have implication on God existing. Lets say spontaneous tumor remission does happen, to the amazement of doctors (not like his story above, but a more realistic case, which is rare but known to happen). The task of science and medicine is to find the mechanism- and indeed there are many possible mechanisms at play from immune response, hormonal interaction, viruses, apoptosis being triggered by some reason....it is not good form to throw up arms in the air and staunchly say "God did it". This is not the correct approach....and even if the mechanism isnt exactly known for some case, it could simply be that- not understood yet. This does not mean God did it....absence of known mechanism doesnt imply God.
There are so many people on earth dying every day in the world from cancer, from the young to the old, it is nonsensical to postulate that God went out of his way to save that one person and not help those other people out...."God works in mysterious ways" just doesnt cut it, and I dont find that a meaningful explanation for that problem.
As for him being banned, in another thread some poster dogkrack (sp?) said why he was allegedly banned...I wont repeat it, but it was a dumb and nasty thing to tell someone....and here he is in this thread simultaneously going on about Jesus and Christianity. This is an incredible irony.

Thanks bro. I agree, just because something that might be unexplainable occurs does not mean.."muh God did it". I held to the same view much of my life. But if we are to base belief and and seek evidence on cases/the unknown occurring, the logical conclusion would be one that has a consistent outcome. How many doctors have seen cases where families have prayed, and miracles have happened when modern medicine has failed? This is why I say to perhaps talk to your doctor. Random comments from people on the internet mean nothing. I've seen miracles take place, I've had miracles take place in my own life, things that one cannot chalk up to coincidence, or any logical reason,I could go on and on of how God has moved through my life, but this is anecdotal, and what may be obvious to me, might be foolish happenstance to others.
To your point about why some and not others..essentially comes down to, why evil..why an unjust world if God is perfect..?
The fact is we live in a fallen world, and we did it to ourselves..we are reaping what we sowed. This world was perfect, but we gave it over..and continue to do so, and then we wonder why we have crime, murder, suffering, sickness, etc.
I really wish I could get a copy of Mere Christianity in your hands..hell I'd send it to you if I could, it answers alot of the questions you, and myself had when I first became a Christian, however as I was reading through it, my only continuous out burst reply to the text in hand was "Of course! How obvious"
Allow me to share just a bit..maybe it will help..
"If a good God made the world why has it gone wrong? And for many years I simply refused to listen to the Christian answers to this question, because I kept on feeling ‘whatever you say, and however clever your arguments are, isn’t it much simpler and easier to say that the world was not made by any intelligent power? Aren’t all your arguments simply a complicated attempt to avoid the obvious?’ But then that threw me back into another difficulty. My argument against God was that the universe seemed so cruel and unjust. But how had I got this idea of just and unjust? A man does not call a line crooked unless he has some idea of a straight line. What was I comparing this universe with when I called it unjust? If the whole show was bad and senseless from A to Z, so to speak, why did I, who was supposed to be part of the show, find myself in such violent reaction against it? A man feels wet when he falls into water, because man is not a water animal: a fish would not feel wet. Of course I could have given up my idea of justice by saying it was nothing but a private idea of my own. But if I did that, then my argument against God collapsed too—for the argument depended on saying that the world was really unjust, not simply that it did not happen to please my fancies. Thus in the very act of trying to prove that God did not exist—in other words, that the whole of reality was senseless—I found I was forced to assume that one part of reality—namely my idea of justice—was full of sense. Consequently atheism turns out to be too simple. If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning: just as, if there were no light in the universe and therefore no creatures with eyes, we should never know it was dark. Dark would be a word without meaning.

As far as DogKrack, took some time off so I haven't seen his posts, and I don't know what he professes to believe.. but the problem so many make, myself included is that we judge a person's religion/belief on the actions and words of said person rather than what the Religion/said God teaches..and we really ought not to be so jumpy to do this. We are emotional kunts, and tempers will often get the better of our rational selves more often then we like..but I think it is important to look at the change that takes place throughout a person's life as they either walk with God or without. We are living in a world that has rejected God. Look at society..even if you don't believe in God, we can't really argue the effect it has simply looking no further than the country we are in. When the Bible was taken out of the classroom in 1963, look how teen rape, pregnancy, dropout, drug use, test scores, etc.all were negatively impacted.

Teaching children that they are nothing but animals, that came from nothing, will return to nothing, and have no Creator to answer to has consequences..I mean fuk..look at these people..
Clearly we are not evolving here, we are devolving..just go back a few decades and this was a prayer recited by a public school in NY of all places..
Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence upon Thee, and we beg Thy blessings upon us, our parents, our teachers and our Country.
In this one short prayer, children are taught to respect their parents, their teachers, and their peers..nowadays, chit now we have World Star videos of kids beating teachers and peers up for likes on social media..personally, think we deserve far more suffering than we have gotten
