Cheers my friends. Cheers.
I’d almost always tried to learn something from talking to people of different Religions, backgrounds.
I’ve not watched the latest marvel stuff really… not since Avengers End Game. Current marvel phases suck ass. I feel like I’m done watching them. I did go see the Spider-Man though. The one where all 3 spiders Come onscreen to battle together.

I think i've gotten my nutrition game on point. That's not to say it's great for everyone, but i seem to have figured out what works best for me. Generally a low carb one, and i'm not one to say that a lower carb approach is better, but it works better for me. I feel better and more energetic when i lower my carbs and focus a lot more on getting in the right micros. I also like getting in 2 sizable meals and skipping breakfast. Especially dinner. My dinner is usually around 1,600 cals, sometimes a bit more. Again, this isn't about what's right, it's about what makes me feel best.
This is what a typical day looks like for me:
Morning:
Coffee
30 min jog/walk with my dog
Lunch:
200gr of skin on salmon with a giant tub of mixed greens. Psyllium husk
Vitamin C + vitamin D3
Afternoon:
a shake that consists of 1.5 x whey, greens powder, mixed berries and a banana
Early evening:
30 min run
Electrolytes
workout
Dinner:
Very weird giant bowl concoction...200gr of 75% minced lamb. Onions/garlic. 1 egg. 2 egg whites. A bit of strained tomatoes. Bone broth. 2 cups of mixed veggies. 100gr low fat mozarella. Olive oil. Will sometimes add a cup of rice to that. Psyllium husk.
Late night:
30 min walk with my dog
Around 2,600-2,800 cals all in all. Lots of micros, lots of fiber, lots of electrolyte replenishment because i exercise quite frequently. I do this 6 times a week on average.

^^^ take about 1k off the daily calorie count and low carb meat veggies is me.
Prob 5-6 days a week dinner is some form of lean meat and steamed or grilled veggies.- almost nothing before the afternoon, normally a morning Greek yogurt
In other news- all this cash has gotta go somewhere…..

And just for you TBK

Tbh i don't invest in oil. Way too volatile for my liking, and too many risk factors at play. I understand the space really well, but it's just too risky for me. That said, i don't see it going anywhere but up for now

Finally got my UK residency. Not too excited about moving there, but given my olive-skinned Mediterranean complexion, i can at least forward to being accused of WHITE GENOCIDE. So it's not all bad

Food is good, especially seafood, pies, pasties, Indian cuisine and the chitty snackfood you won't be eating (crisps and sweets). Cadbury chocolate is a farce though. Beer is good. Unlike the food, the weather is exactly as chit as its reputation.

Only thing I can complain about right now is energy, I keep taking 1-2 hour naps in the middle of the day even though I get 7-9 hours of sleep at night. I don't set an alarm, I fall asleep at 11pm and wake up around 7am when my son wakes up. I think I could fix this by sleeping from 10pm to 6am and maybe getting in some extra exercise from 6-7am.

I had a at-home sleep test, this was during covid when all the doctors wouldn't see you in person or came out to your car. One that specializes in sleep gave me a wearable thing to take home and record my sleep, then I met with him (on the phone, not even a zoom call) and went over it. I thought I had bad apnea (snoring, restlessness) and I did -- but only when I slept directly on my back. When I slept on the sides, nothing. Since then, no weird mask or thing on my face, I just make an effort to sleep on my side, put a pillow between my legs and rarely snore and my sleep quality improved.
Gluten: Human beings were not meant to eat this crap. I guess when growing up, the lousy bread we ate was bad enough but nowadays with GMOs and more and more modified grains, the gluten is through the roof (and voila, now everyone is getting autoimmune gluten issues). Avoid it entirely, IMO, gluten intolerant or not. Make that burger or pizza a very rare treat and otherwise stick to meat, veg and rice/beans/fruit for your carbs.
Alcohol is also trash, wine or not. Do not drink it daily, do not rely on it to unwind, like other trash - make it a rare treat or an exception in your life. So many people use alcohol as a crutch to get by, it's fuking ridiculous. Even one drink a night is constant stress on your liver and will negatively impact your health. You don't have to be an alcoholic or regularly drink to excess, just a single drink is bad. Never mind people drink it at night and it disrupts your sleep (see above).
Want to unwind? Get some ashwagandha. Take some valerian root before bed. Make sure your minerals are good (here specifically: magnesium and zinc). Some people do melatonin as well. When it's not summer, I take my vitamin D at night. Take z4's advice and have an ice-cold shower, they are great. Don't rely on something toxic to unwind for the day like so many slobs.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Good news. Surrogate is pregnant again. Hopefully we get another son.
Yeah, I need a sleep study. My Samsung phone records my sleep and my snoring. It and my wife says I snore a lot. I usually fall asleep on my side but end up on my stomach.
