I was born in '87..... hmmmmm....

Hard to say if that was the BEST year for birth. For some reason I think gen x nailed the timing with birth? Maybe I'm wrong.

I know those feelz OP.

Everyone sucks now. They're all glued to their phones and have no life in them.

90's/early 2000's were GOAT. Hobbies, culture, media, hanging with the homies. Everything was genuine and in the moment. People connected and we didn't have this gay globohomo shiit on every corner.

Wish we could go back. srs

Same here. So much time has passed that now the current people born in the 80s are now 30-40+. They're designed to be 18-25. Think of the scene kids/skaters or something, they're just lost souls as 30+ year olds. The current 20 year olds are just wasting time trying to fix things that aren't broken, pointless lives addicted to phones. I just don't want to get old. Basically just stay young forever in the perfect era.

Yeah 23, after that just seems like the same thing on repeat until you're 90+. Just insane amounts of time, decades.

Those memories are what keeps me around on this forum even though it's only a fraction of what it use to be.

I was lurking for years before making an account and remember just cheesing hard in the library between classes and at work reading the lulzy posts, trolls and life advice threads.

Edit: I even saw a kid with a misc shirt walk by in the lib back then. I was like "do you even lift ****g3t". Forgot what misc lingo he hit me back with but it was a pretty funny. Good times.

Ur joking right? You could experience 100% of those things and other things I didn't list at like age 16 if u weren't some awkward fool.

That era passed so I never got to do it all at age 16, definitely would've. Dead at age 23 so I can have some fun with this new stuff, after that stuff just loops on repeat then soon you'll just have no place to do cool stuff anymore.

Smart phones, Patriot Act were the introduction to what was to come. Obama and his ****gitry emboldened the lower rungs of society.

Trump being elected broke the minds of the elites and NPCs who believed they had control.
The propaganda and intensity of clownworld went into overdrive to get back on track for the agenda and get Trump out.

Raised with normal standards. Fought in ww2. Came back was able to buy a house, pick a 7-10 year young hbb, raise a family, do well in society/work, no incels, no neets, crime was in check.

I would be like 'red foreman' from that 70s show when my hippy kids grew up, be that 'scary dad'.

And retire & die before Obama eraed in a wave of anti american bull****.
Sounds ambitious to want to fight in ww2. Seemed like no walk in the park, it was a flat out vicious war.

That was a typo right? What do u mean 7-10?

There was this woman called Aaliyah who basically had the perfect life in the perfect era. However she died in an accident in 2001 that seemed quite sad.

Haven't seen it in ages, my brother used to armwrestle guys just for the sake of it. It was like a mental thing to see who's better, but in a fun way.
It's like guys don't want to be men. No rough behaviour, unusual considering guys have been like this for ages.

I really don't know what will happen in the coming years, it's even more strange that only us think this, others put it on for show. Haven't seen a guy handle a woman with proper slang lingo. Getting it in, then out. Usually it's just clowns texting awkwardly now, LOL.

I am very serious about this ****. Basically everything I do is pre 2011 in a typical day. Have I got ocd? No, it's just 2nd nature. Clothes, hair, stuff I do, way I talk etc. Stuff after 2013 is just not the way to live, embarrassing.
Check out my history I posted on some other thread.

This was in April. Oh and look at 0:50, that never back down video I posted is there lol. Same at 0:33, that hair guido spiky hair video is there. Proves I'm not lying.

Lifting, jackass, spiky hair, Yo Elliott, Clubland, dbz, etc.

What about u? Is ur life like 2011 or is this something u just talk about online? For me I hate 2015+ so much, it's not even funny anymore. Even if something changes, just the fact that this is now part of history makes it too much for me.
Yeah I remember knuckles or quarters I'm the early 2000s also a lot of people skated and did cool chit outside back then like it was just naturally be out doing chit now everything is social media based you don't even see people lifting heavy in the gym it's turned into a casual social place or fashion show for instagram. Idk what happened I watch old hodge twins videos from 2011 and it's like that's just how every dude acted everywhere. Now not even kidding I never see it. Like that personality doesn't even exist anymore

Damn, nice find. I will actually watch that if I can find season 1. Thanks.

That's another thing, why do guys just have no clue when it comes to women now? Those guys weren't too far fetched as far as "players" go. Basically everyone was clean shaven back then so guys generally looked pretty good. If u weren't, then u were going home alone.

Now it's just bearded tubsters and dressing camp dwelling on how they can't communicate with women??

Regarding the show. Just look at the lingo. That needs to come back, stuff like this should be a handbook/guide for younger guys. Talking about seducing multiple women, with hot people lol. It was just hardcore, guys/girls have spoilt it in this era. Everyone's so awkward/ugly now.

Lack of cockiness is part of the downfall for guys. See how those guys think they're the ****. Well clearly they are the ****, women clearly like that, not some ***got in camp clothing showing ankles bag of bones pussy short back and sides clown awkwardly cracking jokes about politics/marvel to some woman who is some copy and paste empty persona cream makeup social media clown.

Man I hate this era. I love that 2006 style so much, feel sad knowing it's gone with minimal trace.

I think about this everyday, like, I'm a guy and I lift but even this makes me sad. Missed out on a cool functioning era. Irrespective of the virus this era is just a load of nonsense with phones being the worst thing ever. Someone mentioned globohomo but I don't even know what that is but it sounds terrible.

Man I can't fathom how things ended up like this. Like, if you took a normal guy from 2005 and placed him here, he'd be so confused and would end up being a celebrity since people had unmatched real personas then.

I just can't believe I missed out on this era, literally the universe has been around for billions of years and I ****ing missed it by a couple of years. Unbelievable!!

For a guy like me, u don't understand how mad that makes me when it's put into perspective like that. Literally I despise current culture/people so much (I close my eyes when these retard ads/commercials come on, I talk a lot when the radio plays 2014+ music, I look at people and get disappointed etc), but somehow love culture/people that existed like 9+ years ago????

1987 is late af IMO.

I'm watching Tokyo Vice on HBO Max and it's sooo damn good. Shows life in Japan in the late 90's and it was GOAT. The clubs, the minimal cellphones, people still using tapes, etc.

I'd like to be born in 1970
10 years old in 1980
20 years old in 1990

30 years old in 2000 (let's be real honest here, life has been chit since 9/11, so I'd like to be past my prime in 2001)

40 years old in 2010(maybe I'll be married and have kids, so that's worth experiencing)

2011+(Kill me in my sleep the day Snapchat becomes available to the public lol)

Being able to experience the 80's as a kid/teen and 90's as a young adult sounds good af to me. NGL, there's a few things I really like about 2010's like PS4 games and a few movies, music artists/bands, etc. but it's really not enough good to offset the garbage that was created by smartphones/social media.
