Im good, my dads a bit worried but he knows the facts and he knows he will fine, im sure its just all the stress from being in the hospital for a month and a half, and not walking well. Especially after being so strong for many years, im sure its a shock to him mentally. Survival rate is like 97-98 percent i read so im not overly worried about it. I just want him back to normal again

Just a small update:

Hes getting better, its still up and down, as of today his stomach is feeling better overall, still in some pain, doesnt need many paid meds anymore. Still needs the surgeries though in June.

So....My dad ended up getting covid last week, he has to push the surgery back until the 27th of June....Sooo much stress, i got denied from a job today as well...I need a damn beer again

UPDATE:

My dad is having the open heart surgery tomorrow. He should be OKAY, still worried though overall. He still has the lung cancer which is not spreading thank god, that has to be removed as well at a later point. Thanks to everyone who supported us!

Update about today's surgery:

"He's out, they said it went well, double bypass and the valve wasnt leaking too bad so they didnt replace it

Hes got the breathing tube in still and they may even take it out tonight ( we will see) but he said it went overall"

I’m so sorry for your stress. I can totally relate as my Mom had a massive heart attack and stroke a month ago and then my parents both got Covid 2 weeks ago from the hospital. Somehow I escaped Covid.

I’m now taking over their finances and it’s a nightmare of unpaid bills and messed up taxes.

Oh thank you. Luckily they're both Covid negative now after slight symptoms at their age. My Mom always handled the finances and she can't remember anything so just that's overwhelming.

It's also hard to talk to her as she doesn't comprehend much that I'm saying. We really want to get her out of the hospital as it's depressing af after a month but she's got to relearn to walk and isn't eating much.
