Fix my back pain misc (srs)
Cliffs:
last week hurt my back. Not after anything particular happened.
Pain is on left side, on the muscle, mid/low part mostly. Hurts to twist, extend, etc. Aggravated by squats.
Have been doing a bunch of stretching, which has helped but still there.
Wut do

Do this every day. 12 min. By the time you're done, he blazes through it, it felt like 3 min. **** is brutal though when you're tight. You'll feel wayyy better though after.

What deadly striker posted and stuart mcgill's routine.
Also add in child poses and cobra poses.
Stretch out hip flexors a ton. Dig into your psoas with a the handle of a kettlebell or a baseball/lacrosse ball.
Do gut smash to with a ball the size of the basketball. Lay into it with your stomach. Should release tension off the abs which should relieve tension on your back.
Do Quadratus Lumborum stretches to.

this protocol has served me very well over the years:
https://chicagosc.com/starr-rehab-pr...muscle-injury/
I don't go as hard on the rehab as they might recommend, like I'll rehab the injury every other day, or similar.
basically once you can move around and the pain isn't "sharp" or "stinging" do your best to gently and directly work the injured area. I'm not sure stretching will do much. Also do quick bouts of icing the area a few times per day.

Stop squats immediately. Need to heal the injury before starting again, if ever. You need to strengthen the core.
