You make a lot of assumptions about my religion. I believe all religions worship the same god. I believe in human error in interpretation of the divine in our world. I don’t search for literal signs like the clouds parting in Monty python and a man speaking to me but rather I see miracles in how regular life progresses.

So no I don’t disbelieve in their religion I actually would look at it the same way I view alot of the teachings of Christianity, a human explanation for the divine in our world. Just because I don’t believe anyone got it right in how to describe the divine to others, I think that’s an impossible task.

A lot of the Old Testament is allegory to me. But I believe it got the message correct in what’s desired of humans to be compatible with the design and purpose of this world to live a good life.

I go to many different churches, a lot of them would disagree with my stances. All the pastors would have nice theological discussions with me though.

And this turned into about religion because the fukking telescope was being hailed as being able to “disprove religions and show the start of the universe”
