I have a permanent placing as a Special Education teacher at a high school here in NSW, Australia. There is a huge teacher shortage here. I'm good.

I’m a cattle rancher, people need to eat even during a recession, I’ll be fine. There’s going to be a hard push to outlaw my industry in the next 5-10 years but that isn’t recession driven.

Navy so safe if I re-enlist or go officer - but I'm probably getting out and trying to go into Big 4 accounting for a few years.
Just trying to break 100k and a lot easier to do it outside the military.

I’m a server at a restaurant
Things could get a little rocky, but rich people are probably going to keep dining out and that’s the bulk of my customers. If anything it could work in my favor and all the poverty scum and crackheads who come in and tip for chit won’t be able to afford it anymore.

Definitely not recession proof but most of my clients are tech executives and such so they are the last to get laid off and their pay is so high that they won't cut out my service to save money. Currently doing fine but had a handful of clients moved away in the last few weeks so my income is down like 3k/mo. Side business is booming though so I'm not feeling that at all.

I'm in a sector of healthcare. We're understaffed and growing at a very rapid pace. I've also saved them nearly a million in 9 months, most of which compounds annually, so I don't see myself going anywhere.

I work in the most resilient/defensive sector of the US economy - electric utilities
Currently in renewable energy (higher growth, less security) and don't foresee this industry cutting jobs any time soon even in a recession. If I ever did lose my job, I could quit the fun renewable energy company and go back to working for a utility... no concerns here

Mine would be one of the last few jobs to go. Fortunately for everyone who’s isn’t, this should only last until this administration is thrown out and the adults are back in office.
This body holding me, be my reminder here that I am not alone.
