I personally think one should join the military for far more than just a free college.

I wasn't rich and i'm a first generation minority college graduate. I signed up for scholarships thats how I managed to pay for textbooks at least.

and before anyone complains about scholarships being only for minorities and women, there is no law saying you cannot sign up for those scholarships if you don't fit the criteria its asking for. I remember getting a few $100 scholarships for what was suppose to be for "indigenous women" only.

Took me a good few minutes to work that out. Stuff all descriptors for the chart.

- All people represented in the chart originate from the bottom economic quintile. (bottom 20%)
- The horizontal labels represent quintiles where they wind up in later adulthood.
- Black and grey represent No Degree and 4 Year Degree (those in the middle is disregarded)

Yeah there are scholarships for almost anything - bike riding, fishing, being asian, being gay, etc..
