Yeah, guys would just hang out by the garage aswell. Conversations regular guys now wouldn't even understand. There's so many things smaller communities that have disappeared in the car world. I remember there were crazy Japanese cars with giant spoilers, forgot what they were called. Do u remember? Like this. Japanese ricer cars lol.

Looking back on it all, it is pretty surprising on how "in your face" stuff was. Like, the people developing anything at all in the 2000s were geniuses.

But now 1 hates women and the others are heavily into politics. Barely any lifting/guy talk going on.
You can't even say it's an age thing. They all started long after they were adults. It's an era thing.
I'm pretty shocked, never thought absolutely everyone would be oblivious, let alone have it happen right in front of me whilst the normal guys now are just huge pieces of junk with 0 actual skills that doesnt involve a screen.

Yeah a lot of friends back in the day played paintball that's just another example of the extreme sports people did. We were always outside doing stuff. Any screen time was reserved for the evening after we spent the whole day outside lifting or doing a bunch of chit.
MMA and boxing was big too. It still kind of is but i don't think it's as big as it was around 2011. I knew a few boxers and MMA fighters irl.
Idk man i'm just saying that back around 2012 there were legit none of these conversations about funko pops, marvel or anime and stuff like that going on. Even the biggest nerds were into cool stuff like Halo or metal and had cool personalities. The soy personality didn't even exist back then.

Exactly, I only mentioned the weird anime thing because it happened recently. He was recommending some animes as if I requested some animes at the gym. The guy listed like 3-4 telling me to watch with subtitles. I'm not sure why it happened. Just disappointed really, was waiting for the "hahaha" to say he's messing around as if you'd approach a fellow male at the gym talking about some creepy Japanese girl cover poster animes.
Yeah, basically everything has gotten camp/weird now. Like, Punkd being the original prank show when it was fun and games, then guys like Roman Atwood started making a career out of it, funny, but spoiling it. Now clowns are stretching garbage pranks like spilling water on a car seat for 35 minutes with over 20 million views. It's like everyone is brain dead just killing time.
Nerds were a minority before. Nerds now are everywhere and are evidently at the gym.
Exactly, guys going paintballing, watching nascars/monster jam, doing donuts/street racing etc was entry level stuff. Nobody was putting on a front, just doing cool stuff because why not.
There's just so much to do. I don't get how nobody does anything. Ask basically anyone what they've done this year and they'll just stumble and say "work" as a joke, it is true. I don't find that funny. Like just do anything. Ride a bike, walk a dog, anything lol.
Our history is insane, we were once spartans, hunting mamoths, conquering kingdoms, flying weaponised concords at the speed of sound, lean as the average male etc. Now guys are useless 30%bf complaining about gluten staring at phones.
Something definitely happened at around 2013.
