At the moment, the 2012 topic is a bit all over the place. Everyone has thoughts, but it isn't compiled together. If your friends ask "oh, what's up with this weird clown stuff, I swear 2012 is somehow connected to this". Show them this!!

This is a thread aimed at the2012 Shift.

Labelled as, Clown World, Fanny Era, Unmasculine 10's, 2012 Phenomenom, Doomsday, etc?


None of that "Mayan Calendar" or heavily political lingo, just raw what happened and the various obvious changes (but somehow unnoticed to most of the population) since 2012. This thread will be a major eye-opener for those who coasted by as 2012 passed.
Perhaps a theory or 2, but more like the day to day life observations of anything and everything.

Example
Pre 2012 person -- Does various activities.
Post 2012 person -- Replaces activities with social media and smartphone usage.


Since it's 2021, it is the perfect year to make a thread like this. Any earlier, and the shift wouldn't have been as noticeable or even be present at all. Any later and who knows, maybe it'll all be forgotten!

I just realised that lots of random threads were created on the topic, so why not compile it all together to make a full thread.

I don't know why I'm so fixated on style and 2010, something about it was just a utopia. Style is everything, if you have no style then ur life is going to suck. Same applies to what you fill your life with. If there's any takeaways from this, it's this.

- Get 2010 Style
- Get 2010 Attitude
- Do 2010 things
- Throw your beautiful smartphone in the trash, acquire a FLIP Phone!!
- Move around with society but don't bother with a set group of friends, hence move around!
- Copy me? I go out and envision myself as king of the world, cocky and dumb, but gets u ultra gym pumped when grocery shopping/walking amongst people.

For girls: If ur not Latina, then TAN!! It's hot stuff, I recall bronzer or those huge tan bed things.Guys I don't care, tan I guess, looks cool. Like a glaze lol.

I downloaded these threads just incase they get deleted, would be nice if others downloaded too just incase.

That's all, the last of these 2011/12 threads. Just cool to keep it documented before some fool starts claiming he saw stuff before me, I saw it back in 2016, back when this clown crap started. Any earlier and it wouldn't have been obvious since nothing had happened yet, any later and you're too slow!

It's crazy, songs like that were common back then and were all over the radio. Songs now, I don't know, no way can I list the Top 10 charts or whatever like I did back in pre 2012.

One weird thing about the shift is that people have different echo chambers wherever they go now. So each person is getting different stories and information constantly on social media and their phones. Before 2012 this wasn't possible. Most phones back then didn't have 4g and social media was still kind of in its infancy.

They say 4g launched in 2010 but I don't remember people having fast internet on their phones until late 2011 or so

Sure there were other elements that took part, but in the 4 years of his 1st term, he was the one NO ONE could EVER say anything negative about or you would be instantly labeled as WAYCIS. I think social media just exploded with time. Remember the ******** games? Happy Aqarium, Farm Ville, Tetris, Crazy Taxi, Bejeweled Blitz etc. They were so popular that it was in the main news, and that was in around 2010/11.

Since then people stopped playing those games entirely and started using it on their phones for mindless scrolling. Despite the games being popular, atleast it was immobilised to the house.


Dunno, I only noticed fast Internet in 2015.

Identity politics. SJW's weren't a thing until post 2014. That's when all of this really started and people started looking at their phones more imo.

Yeah? There seems to be a lot more involved with the whole 2012 thing. I'm just looking at it on the surface, perhaps a bonehead outlook lol. But it's good to know I guess.

Honestly, I think it's better to look at it on a bonehead/observational level as the stuff you're saying can be disagreed with by a simple "but what about this?". In my case, it's just raw fact blasted in our faces lol.

Yes totally, although the people and their state of mind/thinking have drastically changed since 2012, but lots of people don't seem to feel the difference although the change is there....instead they just blame it on the global problems such as mass migration, economic recession and covid crisis.

Most people are afraid to accept that the change happened, but the fear of falling for it is there...people carrying that empty feeling deep inside since 2012 which just worsened over the years and probably peaked when the covid came and lockdowns took place. Now it feels as if the entire global population is controlled by some invisible machine which is working towards a higher goal.

They are controlled by the MSM but the thing is i don't know how it happened. Before 2015 and 2012 especially people would be like fuk the MSM this is some weird/corny chit and there would be more critical thinking about issues. Everyone is just obsessed with the MSM/news, consumerism and identity politics it's weird.
