Anyone else always use self checkouts at the shop?
Srs. When I go into Tesco, Asda, Morrisons etc I always use the self checkout whenever possible as it's so much less hassle and don't have to deal with anyone.
Feels alpha when I see a big queue of clueless ****g0ts and boomers for the regular till, I just push pass them to go to the self checkout, scan my items, pay contactless and gtfo while they're still in line for an extra 5 mins.
Feelsgoodman.

I use it almost exclusively. No sense standing in line for principal. Thats just a waste.

I use self-checkouts at shops where the clerks don't bag my items. Literally what is the point if you don't do the bare minimum as a clerk? Might as well give the company a reason to get rid of you.

Never used one & never will. All they seem to do in my local Morrisons is shout error at people & the staff keep having to try to fix it, seen it at the Sainsbury's store as well.

The self checkouts are where all the low IQ morons who have never used a computer or credit card line up to get in your way. I swear it attracts the biggest idiots.

Pretty much. The main store I shop at does not have self checkouts unfortunately. The other two grocery stores I go to are a bit further away but they have self check out and it is what I prefer to use.

Supermarkets were always a pita, but when covid restrictions first came in they became a nightmare. Then I moved house and had good quality, independent, family owned shops closer than the supermarket.
I haven't set food inside a supermarket since before covid.
