This story which was leaked over a week ago, might have been one of the best deception efforts of the war, to make the Russians believe the Ukrainians were really going to focus on Kherson in a limited operation. Seems deliberate in hindsight.

There is a lot more info to that effect as well I may get together and post this week but anyway.

Europe is a different story but that is their own doing.
I don't think you understand what Russia's goal is. Russia is not trying to hurt US at home, Russia is trying to diminish America's influence in Europe and change the political landscape.
Russia hasn't been a superpower for quite a while. US has dominated Europe, with Russia's help of course it has turned every government against Russia, which hurt it's growth and development. Strong relationship between Europe and Russia will only hurt US interests, which is why it has done all it can to cause issues between the two.

Even before the war, Russia was already backed in the corner strategically. Gamble in Ukraine could cost Russia, but if they succeed they could force a shift in European politics. A realization that Europe needs to have a balanced relationship with Russia might be worth all the risk it has taken, a road to future growth and stability without American influence over Europe's decisions.

but a shooting war in Ukraine won't bring Europe and Russia closer together. It just drew a very clear line that Europe and Russia relationship is finished.
Now Russia will turn to partners in the East. It may work out or not.
I think this shift had to happen sooner or later but it could have been accomplished by just switching off Europes energy without all the shooting

Id be pretty wary of an alliance with china or india. China is no true friend of russias, they will never have the relations that the key nato countries have.

You should read the history. They are recovering from a period of severe exploitation and disaster. And China especially is doing very well now.

Many of the top professors, doctors, engineers, ceos, etc in America are Chinese or Indian.

China and Russia have a strong friendship, and Russia and India are especially close. In fact, the idea the US could divide them is laughable. It was Russia that protected India from the US when they sought to bomb them.

Ok so before that period of disaster, why werent they the global leaders? Again, they have had the largest populations by far for a very long time.

Its almost as if your population size theory is nonsense. Just because a country has the biggest population doesnt mean it will inevitably become the world superpower, historically that definitely has not been the case.

China and russia have, if i recall correctly, a couple of land disputes. No need for usa to divide them.

China and russia will never have the relations that usa/canada/uk have. Never.

And wtf? When did usa try to bomb india?

The panic was triggered by claims that Ukraine was advancing unopposed, encircling - or perhaps even capturing - the city of Balakliya - and on the verge of cutting off supply lines to Izyum..

My view is fairly simple: Ukraine cannot and will not reach meaningful objectives - what we call β€œoperational depth” - and has in fact thrown much of its carefully crafted premium reserves into a dangerous position. I believe it’s highly likely that these top rate Ukrainian formations are about to be savaged - but this is still an important learning moment for Russia.

Izyum: The Non-Salient

In military parlance, a β€œsalient” simply means a bulge in the frontline, where one side has achieved some level of penetration at a particular point. A salient is a classically vulnerable position - a glaringly obvious operational focal point, because simultaneous attacks at the base of the bulge can easily cut it off and trap the forces inside. Essentially, a salient is a position where a force is already encircled on 3 sides, leaving only the exit to be snapped shut.

In the opening phase of the war, Izyum was indeed a salient. Russia had captured an exposed position which jutted out into Ukrainian territory, and there was talk of a Ukrainian counteroffensive to take advantage of this. Furthermore, the only safe supply line to Izyum ran through Kupyansk, making this a vulnerable position indeed.

However, throughout the following weeks, Russia took control of the territory directly to the east of Izyum, including the town of Lyman. This concretized the Russian flank and secured additional lines of communication into Izyum, creating redundancies for the highway from Kupyansk.

The window of opportunity for an easy encirclement or interdiction of supply to Izyum ended when Russia cleared all the Ukrainian forces from the north side of the Donets river. Supply lines to Izyum are now shielded from the south by the Donets, and from the west by the Oskil.

Because Russia has redundant supply lines to the northeast of Izyum, for Ukraine to reach operational depth, they must cross the Donets and Oskil rivers. Even suppressing Kupyansk is not enough to disrupt Russia’s ability to project force here. The Oskil river - which, incidentally is more than a kilometer wide in places - presents a major barrier that will prevent Ukraine from exploiting their early advances. They have more or less advanced into a wall, and already the map presents an unfolding catastrophe for them.

It already is.

China will become the world's number 1 economy and Indiia will be number 2.

America is destined for collapse. Already many of their states are struggling significantly.

I went to Chicago and the impression I got, was that ethnic strife will voertake that city. 30% of the population is no logner the primary group and crime is taking over.

At some point the city will collapse ala Detriot.

US debt is at 125% of GDP. It doesnt look good.

It's going to be an interesting couple of weeks. Ukraine is spread far and thin behind the front. Ukraine will have to pour back in massive amounts of personnel and equipment as well as secure logistical routes to keep it.

This war is fake like all wars. Putin is a Jew. Zelenskyy is a jew. Christianity is jewry. There is NO Ukraine vs Russia war. It was just a money laundering operation and killing some goyim on both sides for the lolz. Same for every single manufactured Banker War (since 1913) by the Swiss Jews, the CIA of Switzerland and Greenland (Rome2.0*).

Ukraine vs Russia in one picture:

There is a lot more info to that effect as well I may get together and post this week but anyway.

real objective is still Moscow and Saint Pete

Russian girls will be lickin NATO Humvee windows by next summer

If you've learned anything it should of been that you know nothing. You can only assess in real time and make sense of the past. None of us know the strength of the line on any given point and what is going on behind it.

Calling it a feint is blatantly dishonest. It was a full failed attack and defeat. Thousands of lives were lost and massive amounts of armor was destroyed. If it was a distraction to get to an area that must be heavily defended from encirclement at all times, it wasn't worth the expense.

More plausible is that this was a multiple point attack. Russia has been active in moving reserves in and all analysts believed so in an effort to move on an area(s) before October mud. Between that and preparing and defending the original and expected Kherson attack, there was a manpower void.

So chill on the team play nonsense and strive to learn what is truly going on. It is obvious you're trying to paint a picture and seek info that aims at your opinion. It's disappointed you repeatedly.

I think it's fair to say that they did not expect to grab so much ground unopposed. Now that they have made it so far and will be so thin, what's next?

War is possibly over unless Poots decides to nuke Ukraine. There is reports of Russia pulling civilians out of towns on the border to Ukraine and telling them to grab their winter clothes and GTFO.
