Why keep existing? srs

Most of the time i ask why, and i can't find a reason

Good things happen - fun, socializing, food, exercise, etcetera

Mostly it's banal and pointless and mentally painful for whatever cause. Any rational to do it for another few decades rather than just, nah?

There's no meaning of life. Stop fretting over bullchit. We're just insignificant specks of dust in the cosmic scheme of things.

Pretend you're God, assuming one exists. how would you feel about a speck of dust complaining in the Universe you created?

You would probably prefer a speck of dust being grateful if you were ever to listen to it

A man needs purpose in life. My family’s got a long history of depression and I’ve suffered from it as well, probably would’ve roped had it not been from my work/volunteering I do.

Without purpose, whether that be helping others, raising offspring, or creating something, life is pointless.

Why keep existing?

The upcoming epic moments that await you. Some of which are planned. Some of which you, in this moment, can't even fathom. They're coming and just the thought of the potential happiness and positivity from the unknown future should be enough to continue choosing existence. Roadblocks will come, negative unknowns will assuredly come. But you continue to exist for the positive unknowns.

It's all just killing time, mayne. My mood doesn't really get up or down any more... I've kind of hit that point where I've ran out of hope and ran out of fux to give, and everything's all just kind of the same.

Some guys I golf with wanted to go to emo night in downtown SD last night. I was like sure, whatever.

"We're gonna go home and get some food and weed! See you later, FAbrah!"

I go to emo night alone. BRB pay $20 cover. BRB pay $15 for a Long Island. BRB pump my fist to Fall out Boy but not really feeling it.

I get a text. "Sorry FAbrah! We're too stoned to make it! So sorry man, we'll make it up to you!"

And I was like, what are you sorry for, cause that text didn't even move the needle an INCH for me. I gave zero fux about emo night, I was just hoping they would show up and help me get laid.

I bail from emo and just go take a long walk along the SD harbor front, killing time for the train. I go from 500 people in a drunk sweaty concrete box to 0 people and some ships, and my mood doesn't even change. I liked the haborfront a little better, srs. It was cheaper anyway.

I woke up today and decided to clean my apartment. I'm half-assing it and miscing b/c I'm lazy, but tbh... my mood between being at a drunken concert party and scrubbing toilets didn't even fukking change. It's like the same level of meh to me. All just killing time.

There's no inherent meaning to life but you should strive to find meaning in life that gives you a reason to wake up every day

Lol. That's not what I said at all. But what i said was 100% true.

You think someone born with in a happy household can ever truly understand someone who grew up abused, starving, and without most needs? Naw mane. Have some empathy. Nobodys life is the same, we all have struggles, but your a fool if you don't think some struggles are far greater than others.

Also, i'm not a internet loser. I'm a self made business owner who started from NOTHING and I net 30-40k/month. And can prove it with fat stacks of cash

My point is some people have much harder struggles than others, resulting in their outlook in life. You are the one who disagreed with some common sense.

Also. I care. I give out alot to local homeless. To this day, I collect all my recyclables, fill the bags, leave them in my trunk and give them out to people I see looking for cans to recycle. My workers think im stupid going through all that trouble.

Why? because that was me a few years ago. Collecting cans just to eat. I remember being so happy over 10-15 dollars so I can buy a pack of cigarettes.

Some people do care. Just not you.
