That's a really schitty situation you're describing OP and I really feel for your friend but I have to be honest, I really lost it at the burrito story. The image in my mind made me giggle like a school girl.

I have no sympathy for your friend. How much of a potato do you have to be to think throwing a scorching hot burrito at somebody is a good idea? Your friend had 20 minutes to cool down or call the cops after getting assaulted by his wife. But instead he decides to return the favor....because? lulz. Yeah, healthy mindset.

He should have just ended it there if he was really mad. Used the assault as evidence in divorce court. And just plainly have the upper hand. But, no, he decided he wanted to act even more childish than a female. Your friend is getting what he deserves and that's coming from somebody that thinks women are inferior to men in every way. And hearing how they got married in less than a year, he rushed it too fast. The explosiveness and intensity of a relationship where you marry that quickly.... could indicate love bombing and manipulation of a certain party who avoids fights to create an image of being perfect for the other person.

Goodluck to him next time and let this be a lesson to anyone observing to be prudent with your observation and screening, don't confuse love with lust, and remember authenticity in all actions.

Not only did he cook the evidence, he also used that same evidence to assault her lol Also hard to believe he'd lose half his house (assuming he didn't add her on title after they got married). In some states a wife is only entitled to half the appreciated value of the house during the time of marriage and in their case of being married for a month, she'd get close to nothing. I wouldn't be surprised if a lib cuck state like Cali didn't have this rule, but your friend should have known how to prevent losing half his s***. There's no way a sloot could outsmart an attorney. No offense but if he ends up losing half he was pretty much a terrible attorney and shouldn't be practicing law.

Yeah that’s really how it’s not supposed to work even if it gets taken advantage of.

For example for the last ten years my wife’s been having babies and staying home. The staying home stuff is more work than my work imo, we switch things around and I take care of home and let her go run house errands cuz I don’t wanna do that chit and gives her time out the house.

Now my wife spends all day working on stuff for our house, in that time frame of doing this while I have kids with her I’m building a restaurant and working on my career. If we split up half my earnings can represent her half in the household and the alimony provides the timeframe for her to get say her Washington teaching credentials and the 1 semester she would need to finish in wa to teach here (she has outdated credentials from CA)

Then some time to get her career up and running.

I needed her to do her job as mom. I’ve never had any interest in a partner that provides financially, I’ve expected someone to be a stay at home mom. If I had kids and no wife I would have been paying someone to do the job while I was working.

My state has a bit more common sense built into it than say California, like only married a few years only 30% of stuff earned during marriage is up for debate etc. and obv the system fuks men over more. But if you don’t agree with my sentiment above, you should not get married.
