I believe that the US had intentionally pushed Russia past it's redlines so they can start a proxy war, using the Ukranian people as their defacto soldiers (cannon fodder). The goal of this action was to settle some 1980's score with Russia.

The main winner from this conflict is the US. The US has began selling it's military equipment in record numebrs to NATO members, they have been selling their shale gas in significant amounts to Europe and there has been currency flight from less predictable regions (Europe) to the US. This has strengthened the US economy while hurting the Europeans.

I believe one of the US's secondary goals was to harm Germany who's exports compete with their own and who they have had issue with for buying Russian gas.

The other less significant winner is China who will get cheap Russian Gas and other opportunities with third parties who feel further alienated from the western world.
It’s just amazing to me that you can simultaneously claim all Americans are low IQ and we are a failed nation while attributing all the ills of the world on US at the same time.

How is it a brilliant move? Why not do this in the first place if it’s a brilliant move?

Well too bad russia just took the attacks on Crimea although they previously had a fake referendum. As if the ukies would give two chits about this during their offensive.
I mean yeah it's probably a cheap reason for Putin to start mass mobilization but this just shows how desperate he is. What will a general mobilization at this point of the war achieve? He's 8 months too late.

Ukraine already has attacked Russian targets beyond their borders, like Belgorod and the Rostov region.

Facts:
In the beginning of 2021, Russia began building troops along the Ukrainian border. By December 2021 there were over 100,000 troops mobilized.

USA warns Russia is going to attack Ukraine since at least September 2021.

January 28th Putin says he is not going to invade Ukraine.

February 24th Russia invades Ukraine.

It's interesting going back to read al Jazeera and other outlets say that Russia would not invade. It's just lol.

Russia calls for end of hysteria:

The U.S. ramped up warnings of a possible Russian attack on Ukraine, with President Joe Biden saying a “false-flag” event may be underway and a top diplomat describing Moscow as moving toward an “imminent invasion.”

Russian officials said no invasion of Ukraine was underway and none was planned. But the Kremlin said in an official response to the Biden administration’s proposed security assurances that the offers were unsatisfactory and Russia might have to resort to unspecified “military-technical measures.”

Washington — Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov denied Sunday that the Kremlin is preparing for an invasion of neighboring Ukraine, despite a build-up of roughly 150,000 Russian forces and U.S. intelligence that Russian commanders have received orders to proceed.

"There is no invasion, and there [are] no such plans," Antonov said in an interview with "Face the Nation."

Transcript: Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov on "Face the Nation"

The ambassador's claims that Russia does not intend to invade Ukraine come as Russian President Vladimir Putin has massed roughly 150,000 soldiers, warplanes and equipment on his neighbor's three sides and extended military drills near Ukraine's northern borders. The exercises brought a large contingent of Russian troops to Belarus and were supposed to end Sunday.

I’m reading different. I’ve read they have now changed it from a SMO to a counter-terrorist operation which allows Russia to use its general army without mass mobilization.

Making Russia invade its neighbor, using an entire country as cannon fodder, and destroying Russia all in one blow. I don’t believe for a second that’s what happened, but if was, just lol at calling that low IQ.

It doesn't really but I have wondered some of the same things. Why did Russia spend so long fuking around with a SMO and not just go all in right off the bat? Then I found out about their defense agreements with the DPR and LNR.

I don't assume anything when it comes to Russia's goals and motives but for whatever reason they are sticking strictly to their agreements and their internal laws/policies in this.

Other than the U.S. NATO is a clown show right now. The strongest army they have is the Ukrainians. Honestly if Zelensky had told those men to invade Europe instead of Kharkov he could have gone all the way to England and they wouldn't have been able to stop him.

I believe you’re in a tough spot propaganda wise. America has to be dumb and lazy also the omnipresent Devil. You’re going to run into contradictions there, as you just did.

NATO just told Ukraine they can only provide half of the 200,000 winter kits Ukraine asked for. There are going to be a lot of frozen nazis in a few months if we don't ramp up on our global warming

Apparently there are some behind-the-scenes negotiations going on right now.
