1. Good chance they were once conscripts

I don't like ISW because they use adjectives to blunt bad news to the reader. Their job is to objectively assess and used to do it well. Unfortunately they weave the the bloody fight that Ukrainians have been losing as a rosey picture which helps this drag on as some sort of success.

You're a greedy type of dude. How would you like your market analysis to read like this? Zero predictive tangibles and comparative metrics showing short, medium, long term outcomes.

Just nothingness but shoddy gossip really.

War is verified pins on a map, footage, and strength. It is not opinions and adjectives.

If you haven't, you should try a few different Russian war milbloggers on ******** if you want to see what's happening. They tell the truth and prove it good bad or ugly from their perspective not what any side wants to hear often against Putin himself.

At the end of the day this event is in the back burner for things I look at daily.

The potential for every chicken on erf to be flash broiled has raised. There are those concerned for you as I'm concerned about those starving Africans aljazeera reports on from the war.

But their not real people I suppose. Recipes are more important, not famine, nuclear war, world war, ukranian slaughter etc.

Sure Russians are bad but unless we war there isn't an alternative but to negotiate or death ensues.

Russia is absolutely winning but they probably accepted that its too much land mass to protect with just this skeleton crew. There will always be places ukraine can push in and murder civilians to say nothing of their shelling. But russian law doesnt allow for additional man power based on the defense agreement.

According to wikipedia russia has 2 million men in reserve and 300k in the national guard. If donbas becomes part of russia and ukraine attacks it allows russia to label them an aggressor and go HAM

US and British Intel tipped the scale.

The exact thing I warned about Russia retaliating against long ago. They are probably very angry as it set them back months and billions.

These european trained soldiers are no joke too. Its literally a nato army at this point

Btw as a military guy maybe you know...if 2 million is the reserves that means much more than that in the active military no?

World War 3 is still unavoidable in the future if the barbarian Russia is not stopped now in spite of all their threats

For some reason 90% of Ukrainians do not remain on Russian-occupied territories or emigrate to "defender Russia".

Who and how do we stop them?

Why weren't you prepared as a nation to fight such a power you stood up to?

We've already broken europe for at least three years threatening the split of the EU. What else do we do for a non strategic trade partner that all of our people must suffer for?

Your guys legit have nazi tattoos by the hundreds, nazi paraphernalia, pictures, parades and on. Your country partnered with Russias foremost hated symbolic foe and sent them to skirmish with ethnic Russians in the east. It's real and it really happened even if the rest of your country are great people.

I think you guys are painted into a corner and we went way too far. I expect it either ends soon or escalates out of control. You are now at the point of negotiation from a disadvantage. With infantry in any number the line swells north much faster. Though they may sprint east and connect Moldova first.

We fuked you over royally. We have children in charge here for the time.

More than a couple. These dudes are well disciplined killers.

I've driven past convoys as well geared and protected as our own in obscure countries as a hired private military for a government as well as protecting Chinese nationalists. Own spec ops, armor, rotor, planes etc.

Rode around Africa with impunity. It was pretty wild. They get paid a lot of money. Contracts are lucrative.

Kherson and zaporizzhya oblast too

But still, even if you take the occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk, where 90% of the people have already fled.
Do you think it is legitimate to hold a referendum there? isn't it funny?

Russians lose all nuclear capability because I'm pro-Ukraine.

Russia has about 2000 of these weapons. Some would be fired at Mach 8 and unstoppable. The stoppable ones flash and fallout over europe. NATO has 200. Short of hypersonic that onlt the US would have in development, S400 in killengrad, Ukraine, and in Russia to stop and fall over Europe.

Russia fires a tactical nuke into the black sea at Mach 6. What's our response?

Russia hits a small town factory that makes a self propelled artillery piece. What's our response?

Outside of stopping whatever we're doing and ceasing aid or peaceful/beneficial resolution to Russia. What choices are there?

So Russia comes out spraying 10kt warheads over Europe. We shoot a few dozen back?

I don't need to remind who here is the child when consequences to actions are not considered like when they say I will tactically nuke you if you intervene in my war. We intervene, we brag about intel use, they recoil... no one worries.

It's the twilight zone.
