you are going ballz deep in that dip, mirin hard.
Since when did you implement dips ? Do you do it for chest I guess, right ? Noticed any difference in chesticles development ?

Ty brah, this is just my second time doing these in a couple years, so too early to tell. Did 30 body weight reps after this, which killed my pecs. Hoping it’ll make tris and pecs bigger over this winter bulk

second time and you already put fking 115lbs ??

edit: got any form tips to hit the chest more ? I've read that pushing your legs forward and leaning forwards will help you target more the chest.

How does your chest routine look like ? where in the routine do you implement the dips ? ( start, finish ? )

I just lean a bit forward, and keep the grip slightly wider than shoulder width

My chest routine’s pretty basic -

Bench (1 top set, 2 back off sets)
Dips or incline bench (1 top set, 2 back off sets)
Flys (1 top set, 2 back off sets)

Then do some tri pushdowns to finish the workout

Mirin. I'm also having a hell of a time getting chest activation when doing dips. I can wreck my shoulders and tricepticons, tho.

Elbows or shoulders? If shoulders, try starting each rep with lungs full of air. It keeps you from leaning forward too much, as most tend to do, taking a lot of the strain off the shoulders

Fuark, nice.

I can never tell if dips really help me with hypertrophy, but they always make my pressing and my shoulders feel so much stronger

Chest dips are a different movement, so lean forward you should feel more chest activation.

I get some pain in my shoulders if I increase the frequency to 2x a week. But once a week, 1 heavy set and 2 body weight sets seem to be pretty tolerable

I miss doing weighted dips. I really should buy the extension for my power rack. Pec pump of absolute peace. I remember pre-exhausting on dips + bench. Brutal chest day. We're talking Clive-approved milker pump.

I think it would be a great investment if you like doing them. Chest dips are the perfect substitute for anyone who doesn't like to decline bench. I never felt comfortable doing decline bench. I train alone and I don't like using spotters.

Zero regrets buying a dip attachment for my Titan rack earlier this year. I never really messed around with weighted dips until this purchase and I absolutely love doing them. Definitely a staple in my chest routine now. I also made one of my lever arm attachments into a belt squat attachment, which I use my dip attachment for support up top
