A Husky or German Shepherd etc looks vastly different to a French bull dog or Chihuahua.
Dogs are not valid, they are domesticated and bred to look to like that.

Any one of those would be enough to create a new subspecies classification if we were talking about any other animal on earth.

This is a broader point, but related to the one you just made.

East Africans compared to West Africans. 98-99% of all Africans subjected to the 16th-19th century Slave Trade were from West Africa - current-day Nigeria, Cameroon, Congo, Ghana, Angola/Namibia (the Northernmost of those two, I can't remember), and areas around there. Virtually none from Kenya, Mozambique, Tanzania, Ethiopia, ****lia, Eritrea, etc. When I first saw East Africans like those latter I mentioned, it was obvious to me how different they looked compared to the African-Americans I grew up with.

When I went to India, I made a similar discovery. I was in South India, in the State of Tamil Nadu, which is the SouthEastern most state in India. Around 60-70 million people in that state. I was there for 3 weeks. I spent more time in the megacity (SEVERAL million) of Chennai/Madras than anywhere else. It was more diverse. But I went also to one of the other biggest cities, Madurai, of approximately 1-1.5 million. I was shocked. They were about as dark as nearly any African-American, but mostly with fine/pointy features. Kind of like East Africans, but different. Looked nothing like North Indians - at least not the kind you see in Bollywood movies, anyway. There is Tollywood/Kollywood, etc, but not Bollywood.

Humans are a domesticated species too ever since the invention of agriculture. Europeans used to be more robust and had bigger brains when they were hunter-gatherers.

I say this because more recent studies have indicated that their "extinction" had much less, if anything, to do with intelligence, than the fact that they had substantially more massive frames than their counterparts. Their daily caloric needs were like 1.5 to 3 times their counterparts' daily caloric needs. How that came about, I don't know, but it would make sense that such would be awfully hard to sustain and could have something to do with extinction, or at least bottlenecking, especially when something like an Ice Age came around.

If they can reproduce successfully then they are the same species. That is the same for squirrels, humans, wolves, whales, whatever…

You can believe in whatever skygod you want bro, but its not relevant to scientific discussion.

Maybe. But the last glacial period started 100,000 years ago, meaning the Neanderthals live through most of it just fine. If they survived for 10s of thousands of years during the ice age, why would they suddenly start to have trouble finding food?

Maybe not the ice age, specifically. Just...some reason... that they might have had a hard time continuing to survive. Maybe somehow there was something in their genetic heritage that tended towards them becoming more massive and that ended up becoming unsustainable and they had a hard time reversing that evolution? IF there really was intermingling, maybe there was a reason and they were smart enough to realize that's a way for some of them to survive. I'm kind of taking a stab in the dark here. Just trying to shed light on a supposed angle to Neanderthal extinction of which many might not be aware. Should probably be a different thread because this is sort of a digression.

bro you believe in stories about water turning into wine and walking on water lmao..... its 2022 stop worshipping fictional characters.

A biological species is a group of organisms that can reproduce with one another in nature and produce fertile offspring. Species are characterized by the fact that they are reproductively isolated from other groups, which means that the organisms in one species are incapable of reproducing with organisms in another species. The term species can also be defined as the most basic category in the system of taxonomy. Taxonomy is a scientific system that classifies organisms into categories based on their biological characteristics. Species can also be defined based on a shared evolutionary history and ancestry. This method of defining species is called phylogenetics, which is the study of the evolutionary relationships among organisms. The evolutionary process by which a new species comes into being is called speciation.

Red squirrel :
Species: S. vulgaris

Gray squirrel :
Species : S. carolinensis
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_gray_squirrel

Sciurus vulgaris ≠ Sciurus carolinensis

They are different species.

What you SHOULD have said, is they are the same Genus.

But they are different species.

So going back to the original point.

The different human races (blacks, asians, whites, etc) should be classified as different subspecies, if we kept the same logic for speciation that we do for every animal on earth.

The reason I posted it is because race isn't about skin color. The Albino Pakistani girl will easily pass for a native white person in Europe, North America, etc while the Albino Asian Man or African Woman never will despite the fact that all 3 have the exact same skin, hair, and eye color. The reason for this is that the Albino Pakistani girl is either mostly or perhaps even 100% caucasoid.
