ok is it just me or is anyone else noticing something different about fuel lately?

Legit the past couple times I’ve filled my truck up, I’m getting like noticeably worse gas mileage…. my truck used to avg like 18 and now it’s down to like 15

Driving habits haven’t changed either…. Like the chit is costing more but it’s lower quality

And I imagine this type of trend ain’t just being seen in fuel either….

this inflation chit is seriously pissing me off

I feel like it’s starting to get way more noticeable that people are out more money on average cuz prices are up but yet quality of products is going down too

Chit is gonna hit the fan soon and get worse I feel like….

Those sneaky gas stations are diluting the gas with cheaper ethanol.

Have they upped the ethanol content without telling you?

The changed it here, from up to 5 percent to up to 10 percent. The high octane is still E5 though but the price difference to regular octane has increased of course.

I haven’t noticed anything like that tbh…. I ain’t paid attention. I just can tell my truck isn’t getting near as far on a full tank as what it was which is BS cuz if that’s the case, the chit should be marked down since the quality isn’t the same

That’s fked

Anyone noticing similar chit in grocery stores or with anything else?

Its because Biden allowed producers to add 5% more ethanol in fuel during the summer months.

I wouldn't be surprised if this administration pulls some chit to immobilize the majority of gas cars and trucks

Ya, happened over the summer.

To lower gas prices, gasoline now has more ethanol which will yield a lower mpg.

The people with coastal mansions and private jets want you to lower your carbon emissions, you scum!

Kill your unborn, stop eating meat and eat bugs instead, give up your possessions, stop traveling and stay in your pod!

according to Google:

"Most gasoline sold in the U.S. is blended with 10% ethanol. At Biden's direction, the Environmental Protection Agency will issue an emergency waiver to allow widespread sale of 15% ethanol blend that is usually prohibited between June 1 and Sept. 15 because of concerns that it adds to smog in high temperatures"

that’s this old senile bastard’s answer to “combating” higher gas prices? Just dilute the gas brah, prices will go down a little but still be higher overall on average except now ur getting lower quality gas

LMAO
