Legit the past couple times I’ve filled my truck up, I’m getting like noticeably worse gas mileage…. my truck used to avg like 18 and now it’s down to like 15
Driving habits haven’t changed either…. Like the chit is costing more but it’s lower quality
And I imagine this type of trend ain’t just being seen in fuel either….
this inflation chit is seriously pissing me off
I feel like it’s starting to get way more noticeable that people are out more money on average cuz prices are up but yet quality of products is going down too
Chit is gonna hit the fan soon and get worse I feel like….

Have they upped the ethanol content without telling you?
The changed it here, from up to 5 percent to up to 10 percent. The high octane is still E5 though but the price difference to regular octane has increased of course.

Its because Biden allowed producers to add 5% more ethanol in fuel during the summer months.

I wouldn't be surprised if this administration pulls some chit to immobilize the majority of gas cars and trucks

Ya, happened over the summer.
To lower gas prices, gasoline now has more ethanol which will yield a lower mpg.

according to Google:
"Most gasoline sold in the U.S. is blended with 10% ethanol. At Biden's direction, the Environmental Protection Agency will issue an emergency waiver to allow widespread sale of 15% ethanol blend that is usually prohibited between June 1 and Sept. 15 because of concerns that it adds to smog in high temperatures"
