These battles between renters and owners are so stupid. Of course it's better to own a home. Anyone who says otherwise is just coping. The ONLY reason I could see for choosing to rent over owning is if you're in between homes, if there's a gap between selling and getting into your new home. I rent out of necessity. I'd love to own a home but it's not in the cards for me at this time.

Ah yes, landlords pay all of that on your behalf without factoring it into the rent (of which you get ZERO equity from).

Behold, the mind of a rent tard.

I see it as a huge red flag if a chick is a "homeowner".. Much like in the same way when I see a girl with all sorts of exotic travel pictures on their IG/dating profile.

JUST LOL
Imagine actually having enough money to do this comfortably and not have to eat ramen the last week of each month.

Imagine being smart enough that you know that if you ever decide to move, you can do it, make a nice profit, and get an even nicer place next.

Imagine not realizing that you owe money to live either way and that not everyone's most valuable asset is their PS5.

Rentards, when will they learn?

Really ? You can’t think of any other reason ?

In my 20’s when I was bouncing around from one area to another, should I have bought every single time ?

If I am thinking about moving to the other side of the country should I purchase right away without having lived there for a bit ?

Perhaps owning is always better foryouand it definitely is for the average person, but to say there is no other reason than being in between homes is short sighted, when there are many factors to consider

Oh yeah, if you're going to bounce around then renting is better for you. I know people say just buy and rent it out if you decide to move somewhere else, but not everyone wants to be a landlord and deal with the hassles that come with it.

It may just be true, so while I stand behind my point, I will proudly hold my L for making an argument that doesn’t apply to most cases

Although I did mention that owning is better for the average renter

All of that is passed off to you, the renter. Cope harder, but remember, rent is due in 24 days.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Maybe in the US but here in the UK rents are at an all time high and only going up, still not enough supply for the demand.

Also rentcel evictions at an all time high.
