Dealing with NPD gf (now ex) nearly broke me
Never dealt with someone with true narcissism. Truly talented at her craft, a modern day mythological siren of the sea. Made me feel amazing, worthy, loved, handsome, attractive, heard, sexually pleased, and valued at first. She was perfect, and everything she offered me was perfect. Only to be gradually degraded, devalued, criticized, wrong about everything i said or did, made to apologize, wrong, wrong, wrong. After some bite and bark from me, my apology, then more bite and bark, and even more apologies from me, she discarded me. I genuinely thought it was me. I felt I had zero worth, zero things to offer to myself or to literally anyone else. So I kept searching. searching for answers because I instinctly knew something was wrong, but I still thought it was me. Even from the start of the relationship I instinctly knew something was wrong, but I was made to ignore that. It's uncanny the first time I discovered NPD, their cycles, and all the red flags. It was her. Literally, figuratively her. Everything I read on forums, reddit, the people I spoke to, even a therapist I met in publix and unloaded all my problems onto. Everything indicated this person could and is labeled under N.P.D.
I'm at the point now where I acknowledge and understand none of what went wrong was my fault. The only wrong I committed was why did I subject myself to all this? Am I a codependent? Low self esteem? Insecure? Lonely? Do I secretly hate myself?
I'm also at the anger stage. I'm looking for an avenue for her to come crawling back to me, so I can have a psychological crack and flip the tables on her. She still sees my whatsapp status, and she sees that i'm close to a couple of females (friends, but she doesnt know that). Oh I long for that text back from her, so I could systematically and deceptively get back in.

I know what you mean - I've handled my fair share of 'narcs' through out years - some would call me 'the narc slayer'... and that's a line I stole off of a narc.
Do you want some honest help and advice with this?

I appreciate your talentless attempt to rile me up, but I don't blame you. You're old and probably lashing out, or something.

narcissistic personality disorder, you are welcome.

Sounds like you didn't stick up for yourself (weren't being a man)
You put up with her chit instead of calling her out on it.
You probably have an anxious avoidant attachment style

Move on and don't feed into it.
Seriously, it's the only way to win with a nard and I have a decade(s) of experience where i battled it out with these personality types - and I'm only 28.
If you can't let it go and move on, you're not much better.
A narc will literally see something in you and justify their behaviour as warranted, 'since you're the same', and then they'll turn it into a competition and abuse you ruthlessly.
So we can see how you have already sunken to a new low in thinking of 'making things right' to then discard her back as revenge - the thing is if you even as slightly have the intention of 'getting revenge' you're not gonna get revenge, since the narc sees this as them being in control of you, i.e., their are puppeteering you and 'get off' on it'.
That personality type is of the devil it self and you cannot win - the narc will not win, they live like vampires.

"Made me feel.....heard" said no man ever.
Da fuk?
Da fuk?
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

What you call NPD is just a difference of perception. She's just not as into you as you are her.
When I have low attraction to a girl but enjoy fking her I'll put her into my rotation and act like she's my girlfriend while I pursue and date other women. She'll call me a narcissist for this but I really just see no future with her but she's good enough for me to bust nuts in periodically.
The opposite happens when I meet a girl who is out of my league so to say. Super hot with all her ducks in a row. But not really looking to settle down. The kind of girl that has 5 or 10 guys begging her for dates. When I get in her rotation I get butt hurt that she doesn't want to spend all her time with me and won't stop talking to other guys. Truth is she's giving me sex because I meet certain of her needs but I can't compete with the other 10 guys that are doing other things for her that I can't or wont.
I'm aware, not a dumb simp. I know when someone is playing games with me because I do it all the time to them.

I actually find you entertaining because you just described what NPD is and how you suffer from it every day LOL.
The problem with being like you is that you attract crazy people into your life, so they accuse you of rape, etc - but knowing you, you 'put the heavy' on women and make them 'think twice' about doing that or you 'pick your target carefully', as you describe it.

I guess i'm not much better at least at the moment. She probably sees those posts of me with women as a way to get her attention, thus inflating her ego even more. Probably why she hasn't reached out yet. This is foreign to me, i'm 27 and i've never dated or hooked up with someone like this lol.
I'm curious about two things though why she only gave me a short period of time, when she gave her other partners 6 and 2 years respectively. And why she chose me, because she's a solid 8 and 9 and can get anyone I think.

I'm not gonna go into why a narc does what they do and says what they say - those six and two years could have been hell.

You're a bit of a fragile wee thing aren't you?
Just cos someone doesn't like you, doesn't mean they have a personality disorder. Sometimes they just don't like you .

You're probably just like her and suffer from NPD, so you don't understand how your mind works and why you 'lose feelings' all of the sudden and then go chasing 'the next thrill' leaving your partner heartbroken.
Like I said, a normal and healthy person, especially a women DOES NOT ENTER A RELATIONSHIP with somebody they do not like and then dump him a few weeks later - they simply would not entertain the idea in the first place.
That is the nuanced detail that many people miss in these relationship dynamics.
OP trust me, I am the light brah - people these days forget that you should never be with somebody who you are not in love with, that's a personality defect, and now you found out why. She either didn't;'t love you, or she got triggered by something little and thought she lost feelings - either way she's a kunt.

You put up with her chit instead of calling her out on it.
You probably have an anxious avoidant attachment style

It's op who wants to get back together with her, despite not liking her very much. Which as you say, is not something that normal or healthy people do.

Dealt with this for 7 years. And have 3 kids with her
She was BPD and NPD
Gas lighting
Love bombing
Trying to manipulate me
Never taking blame for anything
Rampant mood swings
I was clued in to what was happening after about the first 2 years but it still fuks with you
Like others have said the best thing you can do is just cut all contact and not give a single fuk. They only have power over you if you play into their game
On the plus side I’m ultra aware of all the red flags now
The reason she dumped you is because she already broke you. Narcs feed off the challenge of breaking someone
