Damn, too bad the low IQ cultists are going to have to pay back the loans they agreed to. Such a shame.
The idiots that voted for Democrats on the basis of loan forgiveness deserve to live in poverty. If they are so "educated" then it shouldn't be too hard to find a job with their big brains.

Young voters don't have enough life experience to recognize the cynical manipulation for what it is. I have my fingers crossed that when this hits the Supreme Court even 1-2 of the Democrat judges will admit it's unconstitutional. That would restore a little bit of faith in them not taking completely partisan line judgments.

I already ethered you in my previous reply about why it's constitutional. Conservative justices will block it as expected given hyper partisan courts, but at least Biden can keep extending the interest and payments suspension. Republicans have been backed into a corner and it's not gonna look good for them in 2024.

I don't care what happens to Republicans as it relates to this subject. I vote on the person, not their party. I voted for my Democrat governor in 2020 (last time I voted), can't remember who I voted for Congress. If this cynical ploy hurts Republicans in 2024, oh well. We have rules and separation of powers for damn good reasons. They're more important than a single election.

Almost none said that "extra breathing room" would have them putting more money toward something improving their lives. Hell, if they said they'd move to a nice apartment I'd say that's cool. But nah, a new Iphone and more shots of Patron, biches! I love shots of Patron too, but not theirs on our tab.

Honestly I don't even care. If people won't even pay off their student loans then America is not worth saving any way.
Why the hell should one dollar of my tax money go to pay off some idiot who majored in a worthless degree? I would maybe consider student loan forgiveness for things like STEM degrees.
Also, Democrats keep bringing in foreigners who steal jobs from Americans with degrees. I wish the right would play up this angle more but they'd rather focus on stupid chit like "election fraud."

The pandemic's been over for awhile now and he's already repeated the pause on repayments. There's no economic emergency. If anything the repayment and interest pause extended through the middle of next year (and probably further once that approaches), destroys legal rationale to also be able to have loan forgiveness, since people with student loans have already received such high financial assistance already. Along with plenty of other legal challenges. You should read my reply again, sounds like you have a severe lack of reading comprehension. Congress already passed the ability for Biden to do this.
On a less legal perspective do you not see how loan forgiveness is a terrible policy in the long-term? It does nothing to solve the root of the problem, the prices colleges charge like a colluding cartel does. In fact it encourages an acceleration of the prices charged. And why shouldn't students 5, 10, 15 years from now get the same loan forgiveness? People currently with student loans don't face any more hardship than future students. In fact the years of payment and interest pause give them less hardship than future students. That itself can add on as a legal challenge. How long does the provision in the Heroes Act last? It can't be indefinite.
The moratorium on mortgage payments carried out by the CDC was forced to end as the economy was recovering (no emergency) and that was over a year ago. I say good luck to the Admin trying to rationalize the need of the loan forgiveness a year after mortgage moratorium was ended and there's already a moratorium in place for student loan payments and interest. With courts already shooting the loan forgiveness down it isn't just a matter of them trying to prove whether it's constitutional, they also have to provide evidence for why it is just. Again, good luck when there's already a moratorium on payment and interest in place.

"Conservative courts" = we didn't get our way
I am 100% certain they knew this was unconstitutional and used it as a way to trick a bunch of retards into voting Dem. You really think a bunch of lawyers wouldn't know this? Typical political nonsense, trick the dumbasses into voting for you with empty promises then blame someone else when you can't deliver.
That said, if it DOES go through somehow, I recommend any of you with student loan debt apply for it, regardless how you feel, because it's not real money anyway. They're just going to give it to some moronic ****g0ts, and I'm done pretending IDGAF about anything regarding this sham government anymore. I welcome the inevitable economic collapse because I finally want to run my own apocalyptic biker gang...done with this fakeass "civilization" nonsense.
