All the Koreans in the US drive land rover Mercedes BMW and audi. Every one. (Go to any hmart parking lot and you will see).

Even the Koreans don't want to drive them here. They care too much about status.

Weirdly enough in Korea they of course drive korean brands(since it's not judged like here in states).

Tuners make up or less than 1% of car owners. They make up or it in muffler volume.

Their long term integrity is trash. I'm not saying they are junk exactly, but you get what you pay for. What I've noticed lately though is you aren't getting that much bang for the buck.

A lot of their owners are going through absolute nightmares about engine problems. Sure, they are under warranty, but good luck getting that done. You're going to be 6mo to 1yr out without a car. Reason why is they cut the labor time to replace the engine, on top of supply shortages, and half the techs quit. They basically told the techs they have to do the engines for half the pay and they had no choice but forgot they aren't slaves and can leave and get a job anywhere.

I just mean in general. Norway for just living MOGS every other nation. Switzerland and Denmark are the only ones that come close.

But on that list, Japan's population is the biggest by far in the top 10. Look at Austria though - pound 4 pound kings.

The new RAV4 has a terrible ride. Rented one a few weeks ago, worst vehicle I've driven in years.

Not sure a lot of people know this, but the entertainment systems in Hondas, Toyotas and Mazdas were absolutely terrible the last few years. Honda put ALL their climate controls onto the screen for a while there, which pissed off a lot of people. Mazda's wasn't a touchscreen, you had to use a little joystick to navigate.

This is something that Genesis is definitely doing right IMO, or at least closer to right. Stuff like climate controls etc are hard buttons or dedicated screens with feedback, burying chit inside screen menu after screen menu is bad design for the sake of cutting manufacturer costs

GV80 is the first vehicle I've owned from this group and I'm pretty happy with it so far

Hyundai was basically the only asian manufacturer for years with straightforward touchscreens and real buttons for climate controls.
