I gave myself a hernia doing hip thrusts

Just had surgery a few days ago

3 weeks to 1 month of no physical activity

I always thought it was a poverty exercise. Pathetic range of motion and looks homo af. I don't know why I started doing them.

Stay safe boyos

Don't know what caused my hernia but 6 week recovery for me was unpleasant.

I was doing them because of weak glutes. Can't do squats because glutes don't work and I get lower back pain.

Baby weight 315. I think it might have been the pressure points of the barbell rather than the actual strain.

Don't really have any real pain, not even the first day. I think I had a good surgeon. I'm constantly worried about displacing the mesh prosthetic and having to do it all over again. It's impossible not to strain at all for a month. Even pooping requires a bit of pushing.

Pooping doesn't require push if you get metamucil fiber and squat formation

My gym has a glute drive machine, just a machine for that ghey chit. I use it every leg day so all the bishes, even fatties, know whats up. Don't let a hernia make you stop looking rtarded in the gym either op.

When it happened initially I never noticed. First time I noticed was taking a shower and it had started to become slightly visible. It didn't think it was anything at the time and continued doing the exercise.

In the weeks before surgery it was bulging most of the time. I could still lift without pain. However every now and again when pooping or occasionally when lifting something heavy outside of the gym I'd feel it more.

I only started doing them after my hernia. Not sure why no physical activity for so long. I had a bad inguinal one, sticking out a lot. Surgeon wanted me running stairs or something similar pretty much the next day. Said to stretch it out, work it out, keep my strength up, etc. Fiber and water, don't strain. Especially if you are home near the toilet all the time, no need to rush.
No sig

A few days after surgery a hard lump formed where my hernia was, two weeks after and the hard lump is still there, although less pain now. If you look at it you'd think the hernia was back, except it's not squishy and you can't push it back in like the hernia.
Is this just scar tissue etc? It's really big. Anyone else had this?
This is a mesh repair btw.
