An economy can’t keep up with an out of control government. This is where the wage arguments against capitalism get debunked. Marxism is literal backwardness

You can blame millenials for being soft or whatever, but sometimes people just simply adapt to current environments and situations that they are put in.
Where I live, the average condo is 700K. Moving out of the city isn't really an option either bc mostly all the jobs are concentrated in the city and even those houses outside the city are pretty expensive. Doubt people have a 150K+ down payment lying around, not to mention having to pay a 2500+ a month mortgage, cost of homeowner ship, etc. That's tough if you aren't clearing 7K+ a month after taxes. Which is around a 120K salary. Median income here is like 50K so even with a dual income this is difficult for a lot of people.
Long gone are the days in the 90s where you could afford a house on a single 40K salary and pay off your tuition with a minimum wage job. Had this been the current reality alot more millennials would have houses for sure.
People make fun of it, but really it's the best way to build a family and generational wealth for the future. Lmao @ people being a bunch of poor, rent-cels with zero savings which is pretty much the alternative unless you have a 100K+ job. This is how phucking poverty and crime happens. Not to mention if you need to take care of your parents in the future, you will likely have that wealth.
With that said though I think it's worth it to have some years under your belt where you live alone so it teaches you responsibility. Then spend a good part of your 20s with your parents if they don't mind, allow you to and as long as you pay some of your share. Spend 5 years or so saving like crazy and trying to climb the job ladder. Hopefully by then you'll have a decent job and have 125K+ saved. Hookermaxxx bc lets be honest most miscers even if they had a house wouldn't be getting pussy anyways. Women will fuk you regardless if you live in a cardboard box if you are a chad.
At least your money would be going to YOUR PARENTS rather than for some scummy landlord's trip to the Dominican. When they pass on, presumably part of that wealth goes to you and your siblings if you have any. And now you can start the cycle once again of building up generational wealth. Unless we just don't believe in marriage and kids in 2022.
Alot of people are just doing what is needed to get ahead.

Are we presuming that all parents are financially well off and all children are loyal and will take care of their parents? Because that's not real life.
What if mom and dad have very few assets and are squeaking by on their social security check while Junior has a good steady income well in excess of theirs? Mom and pop can't do anything nice for themselves at all because all of their resources are supporting the household.

-The olds wouldn't listen to the fact that they themselves would still be getting their SS the same as before. The olds won.
-Meanwhile, just a few years prior the olds had just gotten a new benefit, Medicare part D to save them money on prescriptions. Something they never had to pay into.

I know a handful of people who left home and started rentcelling from 20 or so. All have no worthwhile education, work absolutely dead end jobs and are on the verge of roping.

Basically, wages have stagnated (long term) and hypergamy has taken off like a space shuttle over the past 10 years or so. Those two things combined are a death knell to a modern society.
When men realize they’re never going to be able to own a home, pay all their bills, or even secure a decent looking woman to live and procreate with, their productivity goes out the window. Aaron Clarey talks about this stuff in depth, and it’s all facts. No one wants to talk about it though.
As long as there is mom’s roof, tendies in the fridge and internet so they can play COD, 80 percent of men (who are considered below average looking by women) are going to continue to stagnate. There’s literally no incentive to do anything else anymore. Humans are driven by goals and incentive. When you take all that away, or rather show them that their goals are impossible, they give up and start the #rotlyfe. That’s all there is to it. No sex, no money, no care.

I was that kid. I made my mom drive me to the DMV on my 16th birthday. I had to have that license, I couldn’t wait for it. I’m 30 and I’ve had 8 cars since that day, all bought myself. I’ve worked and paid taxes since I was 15 years old.
Me and the neighborhood kids used to play in the woods till sundown. I carried knives and guns around before I finished puberty. We were so much different-even then- than most kids were. I couldn’t wait to move out and get out on my own. I wanted to join the Army when I was in high school and I still remember my mom sobbing at the kitchen table telling me that I was going to die in Afghanistan if I joined (back in 2008-9). I couldn’t stand to see her like that so I decided to go to college instead. Got a bachelors degree. Worked the whole way through. Never took a break. Hardly ever called off work the whole time.
I’m still that person. Working my ****ing ass off and earning my keep. Why? I don’t know. I have too much pride to be a leeching POS I guess. I want to be able to buy what I want when I want to. Live comfortably. I’ve been with a decent amount of women too. Perks of being decent looking I guess but that was never easy either. And that was never my primary motivation. I’m still not where I want to be in life, even though objectively I may be better off than many my age.
If it’s been that hard for someone like myself, I can see why people just give up. I really can. It could have been me but I’m just not wired that way. Most people are though. That’s how we got to be where we are now. And it’s not going to get any better.

I understand some guys just can't afford to move out of their parents house. Or they can't afford to live without room mates. But lets not try to cope into believing its somehow a superior way to live in your 20s or 30s.
Guys here like to speculate how much it matters to women. As someone who's lived with parents in early 20s then lived in a mid tier apartment then bought a house to live in (alone). And who has friends who has done the same. I can say with certainty there are levels to life. And it very much matters what level your at.

TBH I would be ****ed without my dad's help and it sucks not everyone can have that).
Anyway I traveled the country in a campervan and found a remote spot in the mountains away from everyone, but still had enough cell service to work. I built out my freelance writing business from there because I had 0 distractions and needed to make something happen. I eventually built out a team to manage it for me.
I've gone through spurts of ambitionmaxxing making 12k+ a month but I hated my life and all that stress. Now I just let my team do their thing and I take my cut of 50k/year and I do whatever I want all day every day -- I sleep as many hours as I please, I do whatever my body wants based on the season... right now it's winter and my body and mind just want to relax, so I sit at home on the computer or play video games and I eat pizza, steak, ice cream, w/e the **** my body wants. I feel like it's in a hibernation mode and I just allow it to happen.
In the spring I start to get the urge to be active again, so I get a golf membership and I golf literally every single day barring heavy rain, and I walk all 18 for the exercise.
This is the ideal way of life to me. I don't care about career, I don't care about money past what allows me to live the lifestyle I enjoy, I don't care about having nice material things (though I would like a nicer car soon for dependability reasons).
And actually a few weeks ago I did start working a few hours a week to make a few extra hundred bucks here or there since I have so much downtime in the winter and like I said I'd like to get a nicer vehicle.
I used to struggle caring what other people think about my lifestyle, and that they would perceive me as lower class, but I don't care anymore. I think they're all the idiots for buying **** on credit and acting like it's theirs, further tying themselves to the rat race where they must work or lose all their precious things they couldn't afford in the first place. It's laughable to me that I could be more respected for having a $200/mo car payment as if that's some kind of achievement. ANYONE can afford 200/mo for a car payment unless you're in actual poverty, and you don't even own it! Just lmao at the whole system and lol at anyone who doesn't see the absurdity of all of it.
We're all gonna die the same. Maximize your enjoyment every day and fukk everything else.

It should have been clear that my advice was not pertaining to you if your family lives in a trailer park

In rich countries like Norway and Sweden (and ofc US) kids move out early. So youre saying that we should take lesson from chitty poor countries?
Multi-generational homes have been the norm 100 years ago and still is in most places around the world. We're shifting back to that.

How can a man in his 20s (23 & upwards) or 30s with an active social and love life enjoy living at home?
When I go to to my parents house it's comfortable but what is comfortable is not necessarily good for you.
If you're a single man with no kids and a good paying job, it really isn't that hard to get a condo. I rented for a couple years before I bought my first home and looking back on those times it was honestly the best experience of my life.
I can't imagine sl00ts coming to my apartment at 2am to smash if I was still living in my childhood bedroom.
