Consciousness is one, nobody has their own.

Consciousness needs fuel to operate like a car needs fuel to drive.

That energy comes from food.

He can occupy a lot of energy and control a large portion of the collective consciousness.

Without training he would not accomplish much though, as he is converting that energy into creation.

no what he is saying is our brains and bodies filter information from reality and form consciousness, which is limited based on our perceptions. When we die our body releases the constraints it has by narrowing down reality and we become "one" with all of reality again, because our filtration system(the brain and body) have stopped filtering things.

Consciousness overrides everything you see with your eyes. ( your reality)

You barely even have any free will because of it.

i don't think dichotomous thinking is appropriate in this situation. I think its quite possible it is a whole bunch of different scenarios far beyond our comprehension as to why we are here.

For all we know we are the same thing as just microparticles on a spec of dust being sucked up by a vacuum and our perception of our reality is so extremely small to beings that are totally incomprehensible in size and power to us and our perception of time is but a fraction of theirs. And then beyond that there could be another 100 layers of beings bigger and more powerful than them.

Not being able to box when I wanted to has been a very bad experience in my life, it was done in the name of equality.

For all the people who could not match those standards and work ethics, for all the people who have to rot and work 9-5
And cannot stand someone thriving and seeing them rich.

You can't really, without removing your own brain, and finding out, for certain?!

But if you do think that now, then pretty much anything goes, you can believe whatever you like. Any theory, belief, religion, world view, is fair game. And it may be right, but we won't know for sure until after we die.
