well, people are spending a chit ton of money on things they don't need or need.

picking a technical niche in the military is probably one of OP's best bets. no debt, free training and guaranteed pay after the market crash this year when everyone else is being laid off.

Why don't you dabble a bit first and see which path interests you most? Why even ask the Misc?

Take some online courses on HTML, CSS, Javascript. See if you even like coding.. it's not for everyone.

Don't like coding but still like technology? Get your A+ certification and get an entry-level IT job. Then get more certifications as you work.

Prefer working with your hands? Then do one of the trades.

Trade. I did it at 28 actually, doing ok. Some tradies make it like you're ballin out of control, but it depends on a lot of situations. You will never be poor as a tradie, and you'll always have work. If you want to pull real money as a tradie you have to be on the look out for opportunities, be working toward your contractors license, and build your connections. The real money in trades is being the boss, owner, and/or the one selling equipment in.

If you have zero obligations (kids, wife, etc) I would suggest getting your bachelor's tho, at least you're thinking of a useful degree. The salary ceiling is a lot higher with a good degree than as a typical tradie.

While you try to decide, go apply to work for some USPS (not UPS) facility.

Brain dead easy union job that will start you out at 18-21$/hr depending on which position.

And even if you never pursue your listed career options... a USPS job isn't a bad career, all things considered.

Healthcare industry is the way
I LARP as a health insurance agent, you'll make bank if you know how to sell. Some states require licenses but you could get that while in training.
