Andrew Tate says reading books are for losers

And that learning from life experiences is superior to reading. Misc bookcels/intellectuals, how do you refute this?

That guy will say anything for a quick dollar. Can't blame him though, the real issue is all the beta males who believe his little charade.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

A smart person learns from the experiences of others, and avoids making that mistake.

It depends on what types of books you're reading.

You can do both - get experience, while reading non-fiction to self-educate on many topics.

Among people who have two brain cells to rub together, Andrew Tate's views have been described variously as "rabid", "pig-ignorant" and "stultifyingly ill-informed".

+ turgid and bombastic. He tries desperately to speak authoritatively on as many things as possible. At this point, and with points made like "books are pointless" he's just blowing hot air; saying whatever chit for the sake of it.

This is a false dichotomy designed to appeal to his customer base who subscribe to his products where they can learn how to drop ship things on amazon thinking they'll be owning lambos.

If you choose your books well you get a compressed version of the knowledge of person(s) more knowledgeable (and often smarter) than you on a specific subject. Thinking you'll do better than only reinvent the wheel with your own time, resources and mental capacity is asinine. Brb learning science from life experience alone, just lmao.

If you don’t realize someone is effectively controlled opposition when they start telling you stuff like “don’t read books”. Idk, just keep being stupid.

In general, I don't agree with that statement but today at the gym, I saw a couple of "intellectuals" reading a physical book while working out and the first thought that came to my mind was "fuking tryhard losers."

Uh, not in the slightest. Reading books expands your vocabulary, allows you to think critically, and gives you the ability to look at the world from different perspectives. Sounds like he's running out of material to complain about. Hard to imagine him being able to think critically past what to do for breakfast.

Well, reading is definitely not a bad thing, but in today's day and era, reading is extremely inefficient. There are much faster and more efficient ways to acquire information than reading a dense textbook. I assume that's why he says reading is for losers, but I haven't looked into his thoughts on reading too much.

Nah, if you're gonna do that you gotta do it right.

Which means booking a series of weekly grudge matches which culminates in a hell-in-a-cell, loser leaves life, match live on PPV.

people can agree with a lot of things other people say, and still disagree such as this. With this logic, car crashes would be stupid common. Reading the DMV book is for pussies, take the 04 celica out and figure the chit out.

Also with this logic, we're then saying that the top dogs in his war room-Millionaires, who've gotten there by reading are cowards? cmon son lol.

But tate's been here and there on reading it seems. Another interview he had he mentioned that it's just not for him and if others can sit and read one, kudos to them. He does have a point tho. If you're reading about topics but not going out and applying the knowledge(dating for example), then what are you doing?

Exactly. Not to mention because a lot of people don't like to read, by reading book for information and applying it, such as dating, investing, etc you're actually ahead of the game versus somebody who doesn't and just go out there and do the chit.
