You can't count the guys buying a fifth a day and straight up abusing their whole family, all while going to work every day and generally not causing problems. Except when they ram their car into someone one random day. or beat their wives to the point of hospitalization. Or neglect their kids till adulthood, springing them onto society with lacking social skills to repeat the cycle.

Seeing as though the goal of your campaign is to have people drink less
OK, so people drink less then all nightlife industries, social events, sports (&sports betting) all fall. And like I said, I bet quite a lot the restaurant industry would take a huge hit
Restaurants would stay but over time people are going to go out less which means those restaurants can't pay rent or have to minimize and that also means chit for the landlords
What do you have left. Is the goal for people to solely live in their homes and do nothing else?

Because I use forums to test my views. If people agree with me, then there is nothing to challenge what I am saying to know I am right.

What goes down? Some minor hit to restaurant and tourism income. People will still go out. They will still have a good time. And this isn't even a ban on alcohol. Just a reduction by informed decision making, and that is dangerous to you guys. That little dent in alcohol consumption is somehow something to really scrutinize and fear. Not the fuking DUIs, rapes, suicides, domestic violence, healthcare burden, etc. That. The fuking restaurants will lose some money. Wow. Ok.

Those 2 are not the same thing
Fine then if you want to get real sciency the foundation of your idea has to rely on proving alcohol causes all of those things
Realistically your point lies in the overconsumption of said chemical as opposed to the chemical itself
Underlying the chemical itself has some inherent positive qualities as well

So your plaza that holds your non-drinking chit goes down because it relies on the income generated from the restaurant in the same plaza

I've always thought about a type of checks system much like buying controlled OTC drugs like Ephedrine and whatnot.
You want to buy alcohol? Gotta scan your Driver's licence, you got a DUI? have been in Rehab multiple times? Been in alcohol fueled police interactions?
Too bad so sad.
Ngl I can't ****ing stand alcoholics, they are a plague on society
