A Florida condo sounds lovely @Katya.

I know I would be much happier there.

My aunt says I’d have to move in with my Dad in Silicon Valley as his income will plummet after my Mom passes away, but I would go insane as he has 3 TVs blasting different shows and he’s very messy.

I hope so, but it seems unlikely when you swing so quickly to violent threats on the internet that you wouldn't do so in much more emotional situations like a 20 year breakup with a spouse

It’s one thing to be like that online. Im a pretty passive person IRL. I mostly harm myself with bulimia and suicide attempts.

If I was physically violent my husband would kick me out of the house.

You're giving people power over you. You don't have to explain yourself or justify your existence. You can't put your psychological wellbeing in the hands of others. This can be a teachable moment. You put yourself out there and were attacked for it. But notice a few things.

1) You're ok. Because their words cannot hurt you if you do not let them.

2) You've seen the bitterness in them and other people in general. So why look to them for validation?
