There's always this.

No matter where it came from, never forget that America's first reaction was to buy toilet paper. All of it.

Not only that but even more ridiculous is that it was considered racist to believe it was a lab leak.

Like WTF would racism have anything to do with it being a lab leak or leaking from a lab?

That's the lefts answer to being questioned on anything though.......you ask a question against the grain you must be racist.

The fact this became a partisan issue is ridiculous.

So you're still a little salty over hurt feelings. Understandable. But what were you gonna do about it?

If it leaked and China was transparent on day one and immediately locked down maybe it could have been contained, we'll likely never know. But by January 2020 did it make a difference where it originated?

I know one thing, given how people freaked the fuk out over the Chinese balloon, it was probably for the best that we didn't know where the virus originated.

Worth also mentioning that it's textbook appeal to ignorance. Hypothesis X hasn't been shown to be true, therefore Hypothesis Y must be true.

That's a fallacious inference. Hypotheses should stand on the positive case of their own with their own evidence.

the wind turbine bat theory is fun

But I put my money on an accidental lab leak being the origin from wuhan

As of now wins turbine argument is winning.

This was actually worldwide and people were scalping it. I go through one Costco package with two kids about every six months, maybe longer. And people were buying it by the carload. Lysol wipes too.

And anyone who thinks another biological epidemic, either man made or natural, won't happen in our lifetime is an idiot. There's already antibiotic-resistant strains of diseases popping up worldwide.

The right refuses to believe it could be natural in origin

The left refuses to believe it could be a lab leak

It'd be nice if we could get to the bottom of it, no matter what happened

That is and absolutely preposterous argument.

But hundreds of thousands of bats with literally low pressure exploded lungs could cause this kind of stuff

I didn't think it originated in the wet market. I think the most plausible hypothesis is that the virus actually originated in the Hubei countryside and made its way to the Huanan market where it was first noticed.

Thats' the most plausible explanation consistent with the evidence, IMO. Wuhan was always going to be the inflection point and where it exploded, because of how dense the population there is, but it doesn't mean the virus literally originated there.

Actually, he got the Hubei countryside from some scientist who posts papers on Reddit. He plagiarized off him for like a year until I busted him. He claimed he would get all his info from "speaking to his friends in the scientific community." Turns out he lifted all his ideas from James Duehr's paper posted on Reddit.

Actually Anachron, when I was talking about Duehr's paper I made mention multiple times that I had a source for it. There was a post where I was saying there was a professional virologist I'd gotten the information from. I just never linked it or mentioned it by name, since it was posted on Reddit people would have just chat all over it and not even read it.

You're being disingenuous again.
