Imagine having a low enough IQ to think gun control works and having such low T that you think guns are these big scary things to be completely avoided and completely outlawed.

You realize there’s even a lot of gays and trannies who are pro 2nd amendment? Imagine being test mogged by them lmao

That’s how pathetic your line of thinking is cuck

Yes.

However, most of them get guns illegally.

I know kids in Philly, all Hispanic kids, and they have drum pistol mags, silencers, etc. They are ready for action, just before they get shot to death.

Just like with drugs, it's illegal black market guns we need to be concerned about.

Exactly.

Jon Stewart is a comedian, and entertainer. I’m not sure why a politician would even sit down with that jester.

It's not. It's mainly for felonies. Violent misdemeanors don't matter in a lot of states. And nobody piss tests you when you buy a gun. Also a longer wait period would help reduce suicides.

I don’t care enough to type it out but if you think that was a good debate that even scratched the surface of the gun debate, you probably need to put the bong down and move out of your 1-br apartment

I just renewed my CCP, and any violent misdemeanor, any felony, any mental health hold, or drug charge, equals an instant disqualification.

Anyone should have the right to off themselves if they wish.

As someone who is still around thx to state intervention, I disagree. And the laws vary by state.

Ever since we gave $80billion in weapons to the Taliban and hundreds of billions to Ukraine, libs can fuk right off about taking guns from legal gun owners in the US. There is literally nothing they can argue after that.

Exactly, democrats LOVE selling guns and weaponry, they are simply opposed to the population they try to rule over being armed... wonder why that would be.

Gotta love how retarded liberals act like guns are the only means for people to off themselves, it's far from even being the most cost effective means. Rope and sleeping pills are cheap AF, you could take a bath with a toaster, leave your car running in a closed garage, find something tall to jump off of, the options are endless. You could take away every single gun in the country in an instant, and it would do jack chit to stop people from offing themselves.

It's one of the most convenient and effective means. There's a lot of data on gun suicides and suicide rates compared with many other countries. It's clear access to firearms strongly increases risk.

Well that's the problem with today's chitlibs, they are OBSESSED with trying to control everyone and push endless laws and legislation when they seem to have no clue how many of the things they bitch about are already illegal or regulated.

Are you retarded? Srs question, because that's gotta be one of the most retarded positions I have ever heard for trying to make guns illegal to own. There is no shortages of suicides in countries where citizens aren't allowed to own guns, see China for a good example of that.

I'm a gun owner myself. I don't want to ban guns. I want to reduce their ease of access. I think it will help reduce a lot of suicides and homicides. You should realize that suicidal impulses are often short and overwhelming. That's where not having a gun can help. Sure, someone determined to die can't be stopped. But you can help reduce impulsive deaths and murders.

That's great and all but it still does absolutely nothing to address the high suicide rates in Asian countries where guns are illegal for citizens to own.

Which high suicide rates? Compare with America. Keep in mind too that Japan and SK only represent a tiny fraction of Asia's population. Looking at China, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, etc shows a very different story.

Suicide ratea would also probably be higher if they had guns.

Talk about moving the goalpost while trying to force a band-aid solution. A better use of suicide prevention would be bettering mental healthcare, but I guess that would be too much of an actual solution for democrats and it wouldn't help them push an anti-gun agenda.

See that's the problem with your entire position. You clearly give zero phucks about suicide prevention, your entire goal is simply making it illegal for people to own guns, for your own unrelated reasons.
