UFB offering 4.55%

Problem is the banks take forever to catch up with the fed rate hikes. Biggest PITA is constantly moving money as different banks offer better rates

I use Marcus. 3.75 currently. Pairs nicely with the Schwab checking.

Nothing's more liquid than T-Bills, brah. You don't have to hold notes to maturity.

Chit, you could also just cycle through 6 month bills. They're yielding 5.3% right now. The 3-month is also at 5.01%.

I use BMO Harris with savings rate of 4.20%. Banks will often have higher savings rates if you are out of their typical market. My local bank (large one) offers me a savings APR of .04%, so you gotta search around for the ones that will offer you a high rate. So no brainer to switch to to a HYSA if you don't want to do t-bills.

Whats the downside of using UFB. Why do people choose Marcus which has 3.75% over UFB?

When I got Marcus it was at the top of the rates a few years back. I’m not going to move it around chasing an extra .50% but that’s just me.

True I stand corrected kinda, I meant with no sort of penalty, I dont play with bonds but isnt there a commission fee for early withdrawal?
