Most of the military are conservatives. The left has no desire to join the military and support the guy they elected, why would conservatives? Can't see why anyone would sign up seeing the leaders we have, especially with the threat of conflict with Russia and China. I doubt we get into a legit war with either, but why even take the risk? I know I wouldn't do it again. Not risking my life to support the dementia ridden patient and what's going on. Nor do I want to be in a position where its far easier for the government to force their will on you with vaccine mandates and woke chit.

One of the 2 key demographics of people they rely on to join the military are more likely to want to fight against our government than for it.

Biden has made it a point to politicize all the military services. It isn't surprising to me that now the military is having trouble finding recruits.

But nobody is going hungry. The Army isn't perfect by any means, but there are some things that will bring the entire world to a stop.

1. A soldier not getting paid. Pay mix-ups happen, and when they do heaven and earth will get moved until they're fixed.

2. Religious services are always available and IF a soldier wants to attend them, then they are 100% free to do so with no questions asked.

3. You WILL fuking eat. It might not be a five star dinner, and chances are it might even just be an MRE. But food will ALWAYS be available.

So GTFO of here with cash strapped and hungry.

Yeah, a lot of people in the military are fuking idiots financially. It blew my mind remembering SINGLE guys eagerly anticipating the next payday because they've spent all their money...while living rent/mortgage and utility free.

On the flip side of that though, I knew a guy once who was literally too fuking cheap to eat at McDonalds. He would get the cheapest special they had, and if wasn't something he wanted, he would get a hamburger and a cup of water. Not a Cheeseburger because that cost extra, and no fries. *A* hamburger and a cup of water.

This was 30yrs ago and he showed me an ATM receipt once that showed over $15k left in his account.

So cash strapped? GTFO.

I'm sure 30+ year olds have said this of every generation, but have you seen todays youth, they are incredibly soft.

It's not their fault either, they aren't allowed to do anything and are handled with kid gloves. When I was a kid I got away with way more in school and had way more freedom. Todays highschoolers can get suspended/expelled for things they do off campus or on social media. And todays teachers/staff/faculty are stalking these kids via social media, say/post the wrong the wrong thing or follow the wrong person and you have to visit a counselor

Lot of cops are terrible with their money as well. So many stories of them getting divorced, where they now have to pay child support for 3 children.

So now they're working tons of overtime, just to make what they would make, without the child support.

Goes both ways. The delusional fox news viewers will also have an influence on registration if they think everything is rigged because people who wanted power and didn't get it told them so. The whole idea around "woke" is partly a fox news fabrication that will negatively affect recruitment.

I would also like to add that most young people really don't want to be thrown into the meat grinder.

Not a single recruiter in the Michigan national guard hit their recruiting goal last year. People didn’t want the vax, now they’re not signing up to die in a year for muh Ukrainian sovereignty. It really isn’t rocket science

IDK when I was e-2 to e-4 living in the barracks life was super tight.

Yes you had all the necessities, but saving up was borderline impossible. Didn't help that my job was 20 miles off base with expensive gas.

That chit is what caused me to get married early so I could gain access to COLA, BAH, and BAS. Then I was raking in lots of extra money. Jokes on me though now I am paying $1300 a month in child support for the next 12 years.
