I just remember them as being cars the Asian kids drove in the 80s and 90s. I had never seen the newer ones before the one at the gym and have only seen one since besides mine. And it was yellow.

I guess it wont appeal to many on the Misc but I've just bought myself an other classic car, a Wolseley 1500 form 1960. A little car with heaps of character in stunning condition! Really pleased with it.

Speaking of vacuums, I just picked this Roborock S7 MaxV thing up and it's sliding through the main floor of our house (dining room, kitchen) every morning. It's amazing. We basically never mopped our floors and it feels all weird having a properly clean floor.
Wasn't cheap but it does literally everything. I've had it for about 2 weeks now and it just works. No getting tangled on rugs or cables or anything. No emptying out a dust bin after every session. The scrub brush in the dock washes and cleans the mopping pad, refills the cleaning solution and dumps the dirty water from the pad cleaning process into it's own bucket. The water in the dirty bucket is absolutely disgusting so it's putting in the work.
Also got the new Ecobee. Massive improvement with the UI and touch screen vs our old Ecobee 4.
Also grabbed another pair of Holbrooks and went with the Prizm lenses. I still have my old ones but they're scratched up and these new lenses have much better color filtering for every day use.

Deets on the ecobee...is it just a digital thermostat? Or can you control it away from home if you have cell service etc? I have a house with forced air so I'd just need 1 I'd think there. My other house has mutliple dials to adjust floorboard heaters.....assuming you'd need one of these at each dial?

The smart thermostats let you specify a temperature range and it will just turn on AC or heat to keep the house within the desired temp range. It's awesome. We also have it back off during the day when we're not there to save electricity/gas and come back on before we get home so the house is where we want it to be when we arrive. You can use your phone app/apple watch to set temperature and there's a cool independently run website calledwww.app.beestat.iothat you can link to your ecobee account and it will pull all kinds of data and put it together in easy to understand graphs so you can see internal temps, outside temps, heat/cool settings, room sensor temps, humidity, when the fan runs, etc.mirin robo vac. As far as I know, you'd need one for each unit. There's not much difference between the Ecobee 4 and this new one. Air quality meter, metal outer case and bigger touch display.

My dad uses the same unit at his condo at the beach because what he found was that people would rent the unit and leave the AC blasting cold and it would just run 24/7 for a week or more after they had gone so now he can control it from wherever and just turn it off if no one is renting the unit.

Have some in ceiling speakers in my house not getting utilized currently so going to try this set up for Airplay 2. Quite a bit cheaper than going the Sonos amp route.
