I understand where u are coming from in your post but there a few issues I have with it.

Firstly, some degrees are very open to sweesh-swoosh narratives from their very nature compared to others that are based on the scientific method - STEM etc.

Not sure if we have this data but would we be able to see the breakdown for various type of degrees alongside political beliefs? This matters.

That is because getting into college and going through it with flying colours is much easier for younger generations, both for STEM and non-STEM subjects [!].


Secondly, referring to the left out sentence in your quoted post, you talk about critical thinking and embracing different perspectives. The only data I have seen showcases left-leaning people to be less welcoming to opposition and criticism.
