This. 3k is about my maintenance. Typical day below:

Brekkie - deer sausage/egg scramble with veggies and mushrooms - ~40 protons

Lunch - 6-7 oz chicken thighs + rice and veggies - ~50 protons

PWO snack - fruit + cottage cheese - ~30 protons

Dinner - ~10-12 oz chicken or beef + sides - ~60 protons

Snack - protein bar + peanut butter - ~20 protons

Easy 200g day right there.

Lol what. My protein shakes are easily 80 grams, at least. Add more stuff to your protein shakes and mix it with water so it's not too thick.

Because I intermittent fast till about 1 PM. So I only have 1PM-7PM to eat as I go to bed around 9 PM.

So screw intermittent fasting?

Op what in the literal fukk were you eating to get that big if you can't stomach eating what a 140lb healthy woman eats daily?

Like seriously what you described as making you 'so full' is what chicks on Instagram and Youtube will eat for their day's worth of meals except they usuallyalsoeat more veggies and rice too.

Did you fully subsist for years on sticks of butter and powdered donuts or something?

Not hating...okay hating a tiny bit... but for real, you're a big boy did you fukk your appetite up with medications or illness or something??

What do?
Surely this has been said, but how is that hitting your cal limit at 265 lb.? Breakfast should be maybe 400 cals, another 200 max for the bar and 300 max for the protein shake, and the chicken is probably under 500 cals if it's clean like you said.

That's only 1,400 calories. So even if there's other stuff contributing, you should be eating 3,000+ even when cutting at that weight.

I mean don't eat much more than he's describing and it keeps me full for 24 hours. I don't burn a lot of calories when I'm not moving apparently cause since I started a desk job like 12 years ago I can't eat hardly any calories anymore unless I wanna bulk to 240.

Edit: I do put a good bit of peanut butter in my protein shakes but even after that I never get 200g of protein a day

He's an obese brah srs, 270 at any height is disgusting unless ur teckkkkingg idgf what anyone says srs

If someone is on a 500kcal deficit just cleaning up your diet should be enough to hit 250g protein there's trace protein in oats rice and milk.

He's shoving donuts candy's and ice cream all day and trying to hit his protein Intake at the same time doesn't work that way unfortunately.

I do wonder how much protein you actually need to build/maintain muscle. While I don't think 60g is optimal when you look at the guys from 100 years ago they were still building aesthetic physiques without ridiculous 200g a day protein diets.

Optimal =/= adequate

You need to remember 100 years ago the average man was 150lbs(as most should be) whereas today it's 200lbs(as most are fat fuks)

0.80g per 2.2lbs of lean tissue is adequate for an athlete, someone who has a very active lifestyle

I've observed no difference between 100g per day vs 200g per day relative to gains

Like wise I couldn't touch a weight for roughly 8 months at one point & lost effectively zero tissue while maintaining a normal caloric diet @ 100g per day

I can assure you eating 200g per day is a waste of money for 99% of lifters, classify it under the bro-science category for naturals

When you're natural there is no cheat code, it takes time & consistency; the rest is bullchit

I'm not sure. I purchased it on ebay for $35.00 a few years back. If someone hadn't tried to snipe it at the last second I would have had it for $18.00. A year later I won another one for about $20.00. It's simply the best blender I have ever owned. The motor is so strong I could mix concrete in it.

You have a vitamix? Damn those things are expensive.

Just got back from the gym ( shoulders ) and put two scoops of whey in my shake since apparently your body can digest more than 50g of protein an hour. Later I'm making scrambled eggs

I mostly agree with the premise of your post, but 0.8 per KG of bodyweight? That seems quite low, innit? I'm a solid 160 (manlet crew checking in) and at that ratio, I'd only need 60gs to maintain muscle mass/performance. I get that 160 isn't necessary and is mostly a meme, but even for me, I'd imagine >100g is a good balance between not overdoing protein while still getting enough for someone who trains hard and takes fitness seriously.

You're only fueling your lean tissue mass which doesn't make up your entire body weight, only a fraction of it; that's where people get lost on this

0.80g per 2.2lbs is actually on the high end, average lifter doesn't need that much because we're not sport athletes

Anyone that asks I tell them 100g is plenty to build & maintain from personal experience

Someone on celltech can take advantage of far more
