It's not going to replace entire jobs for a long time but it's gonna cut down the amount of time needed to do them by a significant amount. Current AI isn't on the level where you can just tell it to do something and not proofread and fact check it.

White collar jobs will go fast though, because really most are BS. Tradies will ironically outlast everyone. But society should embrace this, let the machines do labor. 200 years ago we mostly dealt with farms, times change

Don't sleep on AI ... Artificial intelligence has developed a treatment for cancer in just 30 days and can predict a patient’s survival rate.

AI like chatGPT improves exponentially, not lineair.
Complicated maths will be something AI can do sooner than later.

None of this is actual AI. It's just running a script that was programmed in.
If X is typed in, return answer Y.
True AI comes when a program can erase and rewrite their own script.

Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

why can donut and a coffee cup be considered the same thing?
A donut and a coffee cup are not the same thing. They are two different objects with different functions and purposes.
A donut is a sweet baked good that is typically round with a hole in the middle. It is made from dough that is deep-fried or baked and can be flavored with various ingredients such as chocolate, cinnamon, or fruit.
A coffee cup, on the other hand, is a container used for holding and drinking coffee. It can be made from different materials such as ceramic, glass, or plastic, and comes in various shapes and sizes.
While it is true that a donut and a coffee cup can be associated with each other, such as when someone enjoys a donut with a cup of coffee, they are still two distinct objects that serve different purposes.

But you're coping hard if you think AI will not catch up soon.
You guys should get updated on how big GPT 3.5 to 4 is.

For my work, I do a lot of statistical modeling. I tried getting it to generate a simple pearson correlation matrix but it failed 3 times.
This chatgpt uses natural language processing. So it won't replace high end coders/software engineers.

Best thing is the 5% will abuse the AI to replace jobs and that money goes into their pockets.
