They desperately need to make this upcoming offensive count, it's gotta be effective, otherwise, the outlook for Ukraine's fate is sealed.

This offensive will be vital for Kiev

Medvedev today:

"He noted that Russia’s nuclear forces have provided a strong deterrent amid the fighting in Ukraine, adding that “we would have been torn to pieces without them”."

I was told by the vatniks here that Russia had a world class, professional military.... seems Medvedev doesn't think so. He knows NATO would destroy Russia's conventional forces in days head to head. Guess those KInzhaLS!!!! IskanDEErss!!!! hyp3rs00nics!! aren't the game changers you cucks think they are.

Poossies can only rely on the threat of nuclear weapons their spies stole plans to in the 50s. LOL.

Russian nuke was tested in 1949, so if someone stole your plans in 50s, it was not Russia.

Right after the WWiI, USA wanted to nuke Russia just because, so if Russia had no nukes now, off course it would be nuked by USA.

You're retarded, we know. No nuclear weapons possessor today is using "atomic" fission bombs, like those from the 40s. They're all hydrogen fusion bombs which were designed in the 50s by Americans and stolen by russians the same decade. Oh - russia also stole their plans for their first fission bomb in the 40s.

I wouldn't expect a serbian POS to know this though.

LOL. No, they didn't.

1 November 1952 |

US tests the first hydrogen bomb

The United States detonates the first hydrogen bomb at Enewetak Atoll in the Marshall Islands. It is 500 times more powerful than the Nagasaki bomb.

Ivy Mike was the codename given to the first full-scale test of a thermonuclear device, in which part of the explosive yield comes from nuclear fusion. Ivy Mike was detonated on November 1, 1952, by the United States on the island of Elugelab in Enewetak Atoll, in the now independent island nation of the Marshall Islands, as part of Operation Ivy. It was the first full test of the Teller–Ulam design, a staged fusion device.

It was 10 megatons.

Russia:

RDS-6, the first Soviet test of a hydrogen bomb, took place on August 12, 1953, and was nicknamed Joe 4 by the Americans. It used a layer-cake design of fission and fusion fuels (uranium 235 and lithium-6 deuteride) and produced a yield of 400 kilotons.

The first Soviet test of a "true" hydrogen bomb in the megaton range was conducted on November 22, 1955. It was dubbed RDS-37 by the Soviets. It was of the multi-staged, radiation implosion thermonuclear design called Sakharov's "Third Idea" in the USSR and the Teller–Ulam design in the USA. LOL - stole Teller's design and called it "Third Idea" meaning third plans they stole. Fukking lol @ idiot potatoes.

I know dipchit russian trolls like you do drive-by posts with 0 facts, but fortunately you're a failure of one.

Eastern Euro trash like russia don't invent anything, they just steal. Just like China. China and Russia have contributed nothing of value to the world.

Bomb is a device you can throw down from a plane. USA devicce from 1952 was not a bomb, it was explosive charge. It was so big that no plane on the world could lift it, they had to mount it onto cargo ship and transport it to the deserted island and set a timer.

That is not deliverable bomb.

RDS-6 was a deliverable bomb.

And if Russia copied your cludge bomb, how come they made it small enough for a plane, and USA could not make deliverable bomb until 1956. That is 3 years later.

lmfao....

The US was researching large scale bombs you moron. You know - to understand the science behind it? The thing Russians were too stupid to get and had to steal? The RDS-6 was 400ktons. The US already had larger. It's fact that the soviets stole everything they have. They admitted it.

USA bomb was 500 kiloton. But you need plant with cargo ship.

And RDS is 400 kiloton, but you can throw it down from a plane.

Which one is better?

And why wait till 1956 to make plane bomb? Seems Russains have a time machine, they stole your bomb in 1956 and exploded it in 1953

Also where is your hypersonic weapons now? Again Russians stole it so you don't have it?

When you see something like “X has retreated from Y” or “X has captured Z”, your first instinct should be to ask several questions: who's saying that? Has there been fighting in the area? Is there visual proof? Why are they saying this now? Never put your money on random hearsay.

The first US hydrogen bomb test was listed above, and was a 10 megaton device you moron. Our deliverable bombs were already far in excess of 400 kiloton, which was why we were researching large scale devices.

We have actual, real hypersonic weapons in development. A scramjet cruise missile, and an actual, real HGV. Russia has no actual, real hypersonic weapons. No one with a brain calls a ballistic missile "hypersonic". If we are going to say they are, then the US has had hypersonic weapons since 1958:

The PGM-11 Redstone was the first large American ballistic missile. A short-range ballistic missile (SRBM), it was in active service with the United States Army in West Germany from June 1958 to June 1964 as part of NATO's Cold War defense of Western Europe.

The Kinzhal is an air launched ballistic missile. Russians say its "HyPeRSonIC!!!!111

lol

No country has an actual hypersonic weapon, as understood to be air breathing cruise missiles or glide vehicles, in service. Oh I know...russia "says" they do. China and US have both in development, and it looks like we're going to beat them. China of course talks about "CarRiEr KillER!!!!" If they had one, they'd demonstrate it. When we field ours, you'll see a global press release and proof of the weapon in a test on target. Not saber rattling with NOTHING to show. Youtube is FULL of US weapons demonstrations. We walk the walk. China and Russia talk.
