Simply double that number. That will be your portion of universal health care.

Now look at your tax return. That line that says amount to be refunded to you. Delete that line.

There you go, you can now afford "free" healthcare. Sure, it technically will cost you way more than just having insurance but your feelings wont get hurt so there is that.

Now, if you also want free college. Double that deduction amount again on your paystub. Doesnt matter if you are going to school or have already paid your debt off. It will make you feel batter and that somehow seems to be what really counts.
Too bad a study, funded by the Koch brothers, completely disproved what you wrote here, groomer.

Also RAND did a study on it as well showing it would cost surprisingly little. Around 100B. That's literally just the Ukraine war lol.

So if the government doesn't have absolute control of healthcare then it can't be held responsible for the things it does do to fuk with healthcare.

Just commie logic I suppose.

Yes, but only for people who have severe terminal illness like stage 4 cancer. Gradual death sentences like Alzheimer's aren't included. It's different in other countries.

Communist healthcare is brutal for responsible citizens, I suffered for almost 2 years waiting for a specialist, was told NOT to go abroad to have my problem fixed, I was at wits end, luckily I finally got in, found out later going abroad would have been way faster (almost instant)

Lessons learned.

I do enjoy paying nearly 60% tax so some povertycel can have their tum tum fixed in the emergency room though, feels good everytime.

We could honestly probably afford it IF we stopped all the wasteful spending everywhere else in the world.

But that’ll never happen. Instead they’ll just rape us peasants with even more taxes.

Your use of "worth it" to describe paying more for lesser/poorer service is contradictory and lulzy.

Or you could just give everyone access to a publicly funded insurance plan if they need it at any time, while keeping private insurance for everyone else. Which is how most of the OECD does healthcare.

Our system definitely has its flaws, but at least we don't have to wait to see how much debt we're in after an (un)expected hospital visit.

A public insurance option that anyone can access is going to decrease, not increase private healthcare costs. Private providers won't be able to extort ridiculous sums when they are competing with public plans which anyone can turn to if required.

As an example, private hip replacement at the best London Harley Street clinic costs about 10-15k in the UK, while the average cost for the same procedure is 40k in the US.

So your diabetes meds and fetal alcohol support care will drop in price, and everyone will be also covered regardless of circumstance.

That hasn't been my experience.

Also, MAID exists in many countries around the world and isn't new in Canada.

What was the cost of a hip replacement there prior to your implementation of communism?

Surely even someone with a 68 iq can understand what a silly comparison you've made in relation to the point you're trying to make

If universal healthcare is the best option, then why do these countries that have it, also have private insurance? Why would private insurance be necessary, if the all might state is providing everyone with "free" healthcare?
