next payday, take a look at the part on your pay stub where it lists total deductions. it will list all the taxes and social security and all that.
Simply double that number. That will be your portion of universal health care.
Now look at your tax return. That line that says amount to be refunded to you. Delete that line.
There you go, you can now afford "free" healthcare. Sure, it technically will cost you way more than just having insurance but your feelings wont get hurt so there is that.
Now, if you also want free college. Double that deduction amount again on your paystub. Doesnt matter if you are going to school or have already paid your debt off. It will make you feel batter and that somehow seems to be what really counts.

Communist healthcare is brutal for responsible citizens, I suffered for almost 2 years waiting for a specialist, was told NOT to go abroad to have my problem fixed, I was at wits end, luckily I finally got in, found out later going abroad would have been way faster (almost instant)
Lessons learned.
I do enjoy paying nearly 60% tax so some povertycel can have their tum tum fixed in the emergency room though, feels good everytime.

We could honestly probably afford it IF we stopped all the wasteful spending everywhere else in the world.
But that’ll never happen. Instead they’ll just rape us peasants with even more taxes.

Drug addicts, the morbidly obese, alcoholics, smokers, why should society pay for their healthcare?

Should the doctors get the 35% raise?

As an example, private hip replacement at the best London Harley Street clinic costs about 10-15k in the UK, while the average cost for the same procedure is 40k in the US.
So your diabetes meds and fetal alcohol support care will drop in price, and everyone will be also covered regardless of circumstance.

Also, MAID exists in many countries around the world and isn't new in Canada.

Surely even someone with a 68 iq can understand what a silly comparison you've made in relation to the point you're trying to make

If universal healthcare is the best option, then why do these countries that have it, also have private insurance? Why would private insurance be necessary, if the all might state is providing everyone with "free" healthcare?
