I hate most people who drop/slam weights

There are times where it is understandable and acceptable, but for the most part its people being little vaginas.
Its annoying af and most of the time it's btch weight being dropped. For example I was repping 110lb dbs, then would calmly sit up and set the weight down, right next to me were two loud *******s dramatically db pressing 70lbs, and dropping it...

Doesn't bother me too much and i might do it with a max attempt deadlift here or there (not often), but honestly moving big weight then putting it down slowly, and controlled is much more of a flex

Dude, I don't think db pressing 110s and calming sitting upright is the best way to go about not fuking up your chit. I'd rather control drop them at those heavier weights.

People grunting with every rep is worse than dropping weights. Funny thing is it's ALWAYS some bloatlord dreamer bulker doing it. I scan around the room and everyones looking over and cringing at this dude. Idk how someone can lack so much self awareness

Agreed, people are way too dramatic at the gym, grunting and yelling, acting like they're fighting for their lives curling 20's...

I feel no pain or risk of fukking anything up, I'd be more afraid to drop weights and have it bounce on something. I just finish, put the dbs upright on my legs, then stand up and gently put them down.

I'll probably get some hate for this, but fukk it. Literally the only time I feel "smug" in the gym is when some idiot is poor-form pressing DBs and tossing them to the floor at the end of each set making all kinds of noise..... and then I just happen to start working with DBs 20 or 30 (or 50) pounds heavier and calmly/with total control get them back down, to the rack, etc. without ever "dropping" or throwing them in the slightest.

When you can actually control the weight it's not that hard. I can press all the way to true muscular failure and recover from either the top or bottom of a rep, getting the DBs back to knees and sitting up. Throwing them around just means you don't actually have true control over the DBs, meaning it is not a safe weight for you to be working with in the first place.

Same, mainly to humble cocky fuks. Like calm down, you're lifting peasant weight, its not that hard. I miss being 165lbs with like 13 inch arms benching over 315...

Do whatever you like as long as it doesn't bother others. I just hate how inconsiderate most people are in the gym
