Some Pictures Of My Vacation In Utah (Pics)

Did a week vacation May 10-17. Flew into Vegas then staying in Springdale for Zion National Park for 3 days, then went to Bryce Canyon, Then went to St. George and Snow Canyon, and then back to Vegas.

Best trip of my life. First ever Trip/vacation alone. Didn't have to wait for anyone. Didn't have to sit around and figure out plans. Just did what I wanted at the pace I wanted at a moments notice.

Hiked until the blisters on my feet were almost unbearable, no wifi or signal pretty much anywhere hiking, and surrounded by beauty.

The pictures don't even do it justice. I have videos too, and even did some funnier video of me slowly dying alone in the bottom canyon desert in Snow Canyon in St. George after running out of almost all my water in 92 degree heat and misjudging how far I went and having to hike back. I was a mess.

Beautiful
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

Yea it's unbelievable. The pictures really don't do it justice or capture the scale and perspective of everything. It's insane.

No I stayed at a lodge in Springdale. Then just walked to the Zion shuttles every morning. I'd be considered a novice outdoorsman haha. Hence why I didn't do actual camping alone for this trip.

When you get a chance, do it. The freedom is amazing. Just keep doing everything in sight and having fun. But it's better when you don't have to worry about finances or other pressures when you go. Hence why it took so long for me to do it.

What are the accommodations like in the Utah parks? Is it camping, or do they have places to stay?

Utah is unbelievably beautiful. Even just driving you're going through tunnels in mountains and always have the most beautiful views surrounding you.

The people are the worst I've ever encountered though. Most of them are pricks or extremely socially awkward.

You can look up the park websites and see what they have available in terms of camping. You can camp in certain parts of Zion. Otherwise you can stay in Springdale which is basically attached to the national park entrance. That's what I did. I just stayed in a little lodge. There's a higher end Zion lodge halfway in the park as well you can stay at that is much more expensive, but looks awesome. Otherwise most people stay at places about 30 min. away and drive up early in the morning to find parking.

The other state parks all had places to camp or bring your campers right within the park. Not sure about costs or permits. I just saw a lot of them and signs of campgrounds. Snow Canyon you can just stay in St. George and then it's just a 15 min. drive there. That is an absolute hidden gem of a place.

Say, ˹O believers,˺ We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.

Such amazing country. Glad you had a good trip. It’s hilarious how something like Snow Canyon would absolutely be a national park and tourist destination in the South, but in southern Utah there is so much cool chit that it is just a state park and a minor tourist destination.

Sorry you had a bad experience with ppl. I wonder if it was other tourists you had the bad experiences with, cause the natives are really great ppl in my experience.

Yea I just got to certain points and snapped a quick pic. Literally did zero thought behind getting the best picture.

I took so many pics for random chicks and their groups and they were like "Can you take them standing here with this in the background, or focus on this for us." I'm surprised they got any hiking done at all with how much they stopped and talked and took pictures.

Yea bro it'll be sick. I tried to get friends to go and set stuff up, but so many of my friends moved all over the country or are married/engaged so they're cucked into not doing anything without their woman.

Traveling solo is awesome though. Try it. Legit the most freedom you can think of.
