Disagree, my drying towel will do the entire car no problem. For the wheels I drive around the block to spin dry them then wipe with an older towel used only for wheels. For any other nooks and crannies I just open the doors and dry the jambs using some QD as a drying aid. Detailing is full of gimmick BS and unnecessary steps. You can pay hundreds for a dedicated 'car dryer/blower', or spend an extra 3 minutes drying with a towel, and you don't have yet another appliance taking up room

If I have a blower, I'm gonna use the blower. Especially on mirrors and trunk/lift gate area. It speeds up the drying process as well.

Hitting side mirrors with air is crucial, I use compressed air

Tons of water will sit in there and then when you drive will drip all over your door

So what Lexol do you use for leather? I mean spray bottles or do you use the moistened wipes? I've been using the spray + cotton pads to clean and condition, but I dunno the conditioner doesn't seem to stick to the seats all that long. My leather has cracked a bit since I started using it, several years ago. Am I just not doing a treatment often enough? I do it maybe once every 2 months or so.

Also what do you guys use for wheel cleaners? I was pretty diligent about the spray and rinse stuff, occasionally agitating with a brush, but I got some stained in dirt that isn't coming out, in some spots

I have a data vac that I bought years ago to dust my computer. It's just canned air, in an electric blower, pretty powerful as well for being hand held. Was about 50 bucks.

It doubles great to blow dry my cars seems and cracks.

Like another mentioned I use it on the mirrors and anything that will drip, otherwise I just have a whole laundry basket full of shammy's and drying towels etc. So I use both when I dry my car.

I started doing this back when I had my xterra because it was black and basically every spec would show up if I didn't dry it completely. And the bumpers were steel so drips would look awful on there also.

I use a microfiber after it's life on the paint/clear coat. Use the spray. Lexol has a cleaner and conditioner, but I'm mostly using the conditioner. You don't want them greasy imo, you want them clean and conditioned. I have an Acura TL '07 that is notorious for bad and cracking seats. I've actually not seen many with good seats. And it's kept them in nearly the condition they were when I bought it, which was 8 years ago. I've also used Zaino on my camaro, which has a nice leather smell, but Zaino is pricey, but people who know cars swear by their products for everything.

Wheel cleaning I don't focus on a lot since my wheels are painted from the factory, but Never Dull will shine up almost anything I've used it on. It's sort of a pain to use, but it works. There's likely a better product out there.
