I think I would regret it too. I’m really not cut out to be a mom because I like sleep and privacy and peace and quiet and not having chores and responsibilities. You lose all that even with perfect healthy kids and if you have a kid with issues it’s even worse and your life is really over. I don’t think I could handle that.

I think earlier than that; as soon as they can walk and talk. They are a bit boring before then, but they are great fun when they can walk and talk.

We go down to the lake and feed the ducks most days, but when she was ~ 1 1/2 she ran up to my wife shouted "mamma, duck, duck, duck" and ran off. We found her pressed against the glass because the ducks had wandered up to the house and were just outside. The ducks being at the house and not the lake completely blew her mind.

The look on her face the first time she saw snow.

We will be out somewhere in the car and I will hear her clapping followed by "dadda, sing, sing, sing".

She takes immense joy in simple things and it teaches you to enjoy them all over again yourself.

I've just started teaching her numbers with the help of the media room. We have a touch screen video wall and when I say the number, she runs up and touches is. I started off with pictures of ducks, rabbits etc, but it's now numbers and will then move on to letters. She thinks it's great fun.
Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!

The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.

They had the technology to rebuild me. They made me better, stronger, faster......

I love being both srs. I have four kids with a fifth one in the oven. I also love my wife and have been with her since we were both sixteen. I have time to lift, work, garden, and pretty much anything else I decide to do. Sure, there is sacrifice involved (some times requiring more than others), but it isn't close to how you are framing it. I also chose the correct person for a wife/mother of my kids. There are times when it can be tough, and having the money we have definitely makes it easier, but I would not trade any part of my life for anything
