I have too, I spent almost a month traveling around Italy. The ancient sites are amazing, as well as the geography, but there's plenty of poverty and mess too. Moreso than anywhere else I've seen in Europe.

Idk man, maybe they do a better job hiding that stuff, but that shantytown was crazy. I've never seen anything like it in the US or elsewhere in Europe. Naples is cool, but it might as well be North Africa or something, the way everything looks, the way people drive, act, and so on.

statistical data doesn't align with anything you're saying.

The USA homicide rate is LITERALLY 10x higher than Italy. Italy's driving fatality rate is significantly lower, too. So I guess if your definition of "1st world behavior" is to murder each other and have a higher traffic fatality rate, then you're right.

I'm aware of the stats, I'm just saying what I've observed. Italy doesn't have something equivalent to Englewood in Chicago and that kind of thing.

Literally the ONLY bad thing about Rome compared to USA is the graffiti everywhere.... But I'll take their graffiti over the meth heads living on the sidewalk we have here.

the USA is a cultural dumpster fire of trash.

Bro Italians are awful, no offence to any Italians, but they're loud, rude, and just generally a pain to deal with. Again, everywhere else I've been in Europe people have been really cool. I'm a pretty introverted guy, so it's not like I'm normally setting people off. Rome is awesome, the history is amazing, it's the birthplace of civilization along with Greece, but the modern day people, at least a sizeable chunk of them, suck. I was just in London for a couple of weeks and the people there were cooler than here, so I'm not saying this because I'm biased toward Americans or something.

antisocial eating is how people get fat. They live in a sort of shared culture.

Cause Cico.
“Steroids is now just a word that the lazy and ignorant use to describe any guy that has more muscle and dedication than them”– Mike O'Hearn

"I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home; I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."

I've seen it mentioned in the past, and out of curiosity looked it up with a quick internet search, Italy and neighboring Greece have some of the highest rates of obesity for kids in the world. Looks like Italys youth are moving away from their parents Mediterranean diet.

Being fat isn't as socially acceptable in Europe. In general, Europeans care a lot about their appearance. Not just in terms of their bodies either. How the dress. They wouldn't go out looking like slobs, even if it was just to run a quick errand. Of course nice, stylish clothes go hand in hand with a decent body needed to pull off fashionable clothing.

They probably know what proper portions are, unlike Americans.
Some generally unhealthy food here and there isn’t bad when the portions are kept reasonable.
