Works all the same muscles as a deadlift, except the sumo stance allows you to incorporate more hip/glutes, which will help lower back pain, AND has much less risk of destroying your lower back.

Competition is about moving the maximum amount of weight within the rules.

They eat clean foods.
Meats, seafoods, vegetables, white rice, Japanese noodles. And their training if very physically demanding
It’s not like they got fat by eating donuts and potato chips and by being couch potatoes.

A fat and healthy rikishi (sumo wrestler) would embarrass most bodybuilders in a shoot fight. Tossing them around and dropping them with ease I’d bet.

Ah the sumo deadlift
When I lifted heavy I did both and always hard the under/overhand grip . And removed my wedding band.

What's harder on a father, a son who comes out as a tranny or a son who pulls sumo?
